   It’s not our first time and it won’t be our last. We truly think it’s the best restaurant in Canmore.

   Unfortunately not an experience I would recommend. Tasting menu is overpriced for the quality of the food and food portions are small. Our server kept trying to upsell us on things like more wine and “a plate of cheese” before dessert (without telling us the cost, so one could easily assume the plate of cheese was included in the tasting menu). We left still hungry after finishing the tasting menu.

   The tasting menu was a treat yet again. I hate to give another great review as the place is small and if everyone knows then I won’t get in. Regardless - great team, great food, great service. You have to go!!!

   We return regularly to Ankor a couple of times each ski season due to its consistent high calibre cooking and service. Excellent value especially for the price point. The tasting menu never fails to deliver. Best dishes for us were the pork and scallops, the octopus, and cherry dessert.

   Best tasting menu especially for the price. Well explained, and the wine pairings were fantastic. The food and experience rival similar restaurants in Chicago and Seattle.

   The chef Dany is really nice and approachable as well as the manager Paysley. Very fun place. We had the 6 services dinner at 123$ and worth every penny. Everything was very tasty. You can pair with wines but we had red wine and a glass of incredible sake. The only little tiny thing was that with the paté they serve little mandarine pieces. I found that it takes over the taste of the pâté because of its strong taste. But really just a detail from a foodie :)

   Our meal here was phenomenal. There was not a dish we didn’t love! We will 100% be back.

    We had the tasting menu and it was one of the best meals we ever had! Romain was our server and was so knowledgeable and welcoming, we enjoyed his insight on the wine pairing. I loved how everyone worked together to make the evening flow and every server that delivered a dish was as knowledgeable as the next
