Annabelle's Kitchen is a modern Italian 'neighbourhood' restaurant and a loving homage to our Italian roots. Serving the food we were raised on and the food you love to eat, we offer a variety of classic pasta, antipasti, and pizza made from scratch using the freshest ingredients. We also offer great wine, innovative cocktails, and local craft beer.
If the kitchen is the heart of the home, our bright and eclectic Marda Loop location is the heart of the neighbourhood. Join us for lunch, dinner, or pop in for an afternoon apertivo.
Join us for Happy Hour 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday! Enjoy $18 pizzas & $8 wine, draught beer, and
aperol spritz.

    It's rare that I find the appetizer, main and dessert to be all equally fantastic, but all three courses were outstanding in flavour and presentation. Highly recommend. :) Excellent service as well.

    Our server was delightful- very personable and helpful accommodating my gluten free dietary needs. The food was simple but tasted good; including the GF pasta ( which is difficult to get right☺️). Over all a quaint neighborhood gathering place.

    Our young server told us she was recently hired at Annabelle though answered questioned that I definitely knew she wouldn't know. Why did I do it one might ask, b/c I'm a French foody (spelling). Our server was very attentive, actually too attentive. She cleared our table w/o even asking or considering if one of the guests at our table might enjoy someone else's food. She removed everything, from ustensiles to plates. She removed plates before anyone else at the table were done their appetizers. It was just weird! No restaurant table etiquette. But the young server was very polite and considerate. Food portions: Pasta Fusilli dish ordered was slim for the price. Just returned from Waterloo, ON, got twice the amount for the same price! Pizza: About Today. Couldn't find all the ingredients noted on the menu! Very little ingredients on the pizza. The thin crust is superb. Taste: Bruschetta was a bit bland. Lacking flavour. Pizza was flavour was good. The Panzanella Insalata salad was flavourful though had too much croutons. If your looking for real Southern Italian food, this is not the place, unfortunately though I had the impression that the restaurant might be a secure place for a single woman to have a nice meal w/ staff looking over her wellbeing.     I had a reservation for Oct 4 at 6 pm. We were seated promptly but the first thing the server said was we had to be out in one hour because of a second seating at 730 When making this reservation I was not made aware of the second seating and that we could only dine for 1 hour.

    Love how they source European flour. I truly enjoyed a hearty dish of pasta without an upset belly. With well appointed decor, a warm blanket for the patio and fabulous wine it was a memorable visit.

    Was one of the best Italian outside of Italy. Love the atmosphere, the food, the wine - everything was fantastic.

    Unfortuately, Poor service with no personality, very salty food and overall needs management help. Very frustrating as this is a local restaurant in my community. Won't be back or be recommending.
