    We waited at our table for our server for 45 min before deciding to leave. Two tables around us were who arrived after we did were served and no one even looked at us.

    Did the sunset dinner for a birthday and it was great. Sun (well clouds) was still setting s we entered. Good drinks (Washington Manhattan) and first courses followed by the ginger prawns and flank steak with generous servings and no rush. Creme brulette was perfect to cap off the early evening and the sweet birthday card and candle to blow out were nice finishing touches.

    This is our 4th visit. Our first visit was amazing. We had great service, great food, and the drinks were tasty. Each time we have come since we were not impressed. The restaurant itself is lovely, the view amazing, and it has great ambiance, but everything else is underwhelming. Last night we had the Wellington Filet. It was very tender, but WAY overcooked. We were told they average medium and mine was well done. We each had a cocktail that was mediocre. The mashed potatoes were decent, nothing special, and the broccoli was flavored well, but overcooked. Our bread was cold and the butter hard, so it wouldn’t spread easy or melt. The online menu featured Halibut, which I was looking forward to, but sadly it wasn’t on the menu in the restaurant. Our waitress was average at best and not very friendly. The special drink menu had 5 drinks on it and they only had the ingredients for 1 of the 5 drinks. Our reservation was at 7:00pm, so there is no way they could have run out. Why even put the menu out if you don’t have the ingredients for the drinks? Unfortunately, since this was the 4th time I was under impressed with this restaurant, we won’t be returning any time soon. Maybe we’ll try again in a year or two, we’ll wait and see.

    Definitely a reliable place for a good meal. Was disappointed the usual basket of tasty bread wasn’t offered. Instead a basket of sourdough slices with cold butter was placed on our table. The bread was cold and spreading cold butter on cold bread just ripped the bread. The bread should have been warmed up; otherwise a good meal filled with our favorites.

    Chris and the busser did a great job. They were fast and accommodating. We had 3 cancel from our group and didn’t mind moving us to a smaller table. The food was amazing!!! Always great for the end-of-the-year lunch with my kids. Thank you!!

    Our mail was lovely. Two of us ordered the fillet Wellington on the special menu and it was perfectly done., Juicy, a lovely medium, rare with a crispy crust and a delicious duxcelle. The fillet of beef that one of our other party ordered was beautifully prepared as well. I would recommend dining here any time, for any reason. We are repeat diners.

    Three of us came for lunch on a Friday. I had made a reservation and requested a window seat. It was a high tide, misty day. We were able to watch grebes and mergansers feeding. The food was excellent, with attentive service. My sister-in-law visiting from Montana was impressed.
