Encantador

El restaurante A.O.C. ofrece pequeños platillos elaborados con ingredientes locales de estación. La chef Suzanne Goin propone cocina francesa y californiana con toques mediterráneos. La carta de vinos, supervisada por Caroline Styne, incluye 24 vinos por copa y 150 etiquetas, provenientes de bodegas biológicas, biodinámicas o sostenibles. También hay un bar bien surtido con licores de calidad y cocteles de la casa. Se recomienda reservar mesa.

Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: AOC no sólo es un clásico por la comida californiana-francesa de la chef Suzanne Goin, ganadora del premio James Beard, sino también porque tiene uno de los patios más bonitos de la ciudad. Es un lugar muy romántico, con una chimenea de leña, árboles y una hiedra que se enrosca en un muro del restaurante. Our feelings overall were that the food was stellar A+++++ but the service was unfortunately not. The host greeting us was friendly and warm, but the actual server was aloof and borderline passive aggressive, leading to some uncomfortable moments. It's sad because both of us that were dining actually work in the service industry, so we ultimately understand the difficulty of sustaining a positive attitude in the 2025 L.A. dining scene and were bummed that we had to experience her failure to cope. We didn't let it ruin our overall experience because the food was truly amazing and the atmosphere was great - nice mood and music. But damn.. would have been nice to have been treated better, or at least as others observed.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and we couldn’t have picked a better place for it. We arrived early for a pre dinner cocktails and the drinks were delicious. The ambiance is romantic but what had us feeling over the top was the food; the fingerlings, the gnocchi, SABROSO! Everything we ordered came out quickly and honestly, was worth the steep price for small plates. I hen we finished off with desert we were completely satisfied. The wait staff was amazing; picking up empty dishes, asking for any additional food/drinks, just professional. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back soon

Enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and food! Outdoor was enclosed which was nice temp wise.

Great food. Great service. We were still chatting and didn’t realize they were closed and they didnt rush us out. Music was low so you don’t feel like you’re yelling. And the tables are spaced out well so you’re not right on top of other parties. I feel like most tapas style restaurants are very tight and chaotic (ex: Bacari) so this was a very nice surprise. Will absolutely be back. Try the espresso martini. Most balanced cocktail I’ve had, which is hard to do because they make theirs with tequila.

Ernell is such a great presence at AOC. We love him, the wine and the food. Arroz was a little too loose in texture, but everything else was good. Always love coming back. Vibe was quiet and subdued this evening. Thank you

Patio was closed , because not busy enough , that was a little disappointing ..

Thanks for the stars, Xavier! Sorry about the patio. Because we're open seven days, we try to take advantage of the occasional quiet night to get in some repairs and upkeep. Takes a lotta work to maintain that beautiful old courtyard.
