The atmosphere was fantastic, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. The starters, however, truly stole the show—the fatoush salad was, without a doubt, the best salad I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Every bite was fresh and so flavorful. The main courses were also excellent, though they had tough competition from the standout appetizers. Overall, a great dining experience—I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon!

As Liban is a perfect dining setting to celebrate a special occasion, anniversary, or just to enjoy a great meal. The service was professional( Alan was amazing), friendly, receptive to any of our needs, and welcoming. A great spot and we will definitely be back as regulars.

Food was unbelievably delicious! Service was fantastic. Just the right amount of attentiveness. Also saw the server notice a wobbly table and they moved the couple to another table before the couple asked to be moved. Great job!

My favourite restaurant in Halifax. The food is absolutely delicious and we had a lovely time as a group of 6.

We had been wanting to try Au Liban for awhile and were, unfortunately, disappointed. We were there on a weekday early evening and only one other table was seated. Considering that, service was awful… extremely slow, no check in, water not filled… I appreciate not feeling rushed, but this was pretty abysmal. Some food items were great (salads, pita, cauliflower) but the mains were not. Items that would not normally be spicy/hot were covered in a very spicy hot sauce/flatbread and this was not mentioned anywhere in the description on the menu. My husband, who likes spice/heat, even thought it was way too much. Desserts we tried tasted like soap. Rose flavour can be nice but it takes a delicate/refined hand to get the balance right; this was not the case here. Maybe this was an off night but if we decide to try again/return, it might only be for apps/salad.
