   Fun time and great food. One of the must tries I. Old Town. Service was amazing the staff is so friendly.

   I recommend the mussels over other choices. Thai curry mussels were flavorful as were other mussels I previously had. The jambalaya had a nice sauce. Probably wasn’t authenticity Cajun but still decent. Dishes aren’t large so you may want to order an app or salad. Like many restaurants. It was understaffed so service was unreliable, though friendly.

   Mussels were excellent. It was very busy, we had a 1:30 reservation, checked in on time but didn’t get mussel order till 2:30. Only one waitress for the tables on top floor and she had to run downstairs to get drinks. About one half hour after we had ordered she came back and said- you ordered mussels right, which ones? We told her and she said she was going to check with the kitchen but never came back with an update. We called her over to find out what was going on since another couple had come if after us and they got gotten their order of mussels. The host was also running ragged. Seems like management should have planned for a busy day, (have more experienced people or train better)with the parade held earlier. Not the best service, but mussels were excellent.

   Good food and service. It was a Wednesday night and not super busy. Loved the brisket sandwich, berry cheesecake and empanadas.

   Disappointing Experience—Wouldn’t Return We decided to stop in after seeing some great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. Initially, we were interested in trying the beers on tap, but with most rated around 3.5 stars, we opted for cocktails instead. The Old Fashioned was served over what felt like 20+ ice cubes, completely watering it down. The You Da Pom cocktail sounded promising, but the first sip tasted eerily similar to mouthwash—not exactly what we were hoping for. I would’ve ordered something else if anyone had asked. Service was another major letdown. Our server seemed uninterested in our table, and at one point, we had to ask another staff member just to get her attention. She was more focused on chatting and flirting with coworkers than checking in on us. By the time we got our check, we were more than ready to leave and didn’t bother coming back for the rest of our trip. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of other places to check out instead!

   Old chicken in my pasta dish. The chicken in my creole pasta dish was chicken that had been cooked and saved from days before. Mixing old chicken into a fresh meal ruins the dish. But the apple tart was the star of the show!

   The food was amazing, the Augie’s platter started us off perfectly, along with an order of frites which came with a variety of tasty sauces to choose from. I finished with a lamb pot pie which was delightful, although next time I think I’ll try the jambalaya pasta. The food had a bit of a dragging wait time, but it was Saturday night and completely worth it.

   Love Augie’s . Food and service is always good. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Fun atmosphere to watch football.
