“Babbo”, meaning Daddy in Italian, is inspired by family and rooted in tradition. Our food and wine has been carefully sourced from all of the diverse Italian regions. Home-made bread and pasta compliments various Italian dishes with a true authentic taste of Italy. Babbo’s signature dish, the Lasagna al Ragout of Angus Aberdeen is born from a secret family recipe of over 100 years, passed down through generations with love and respect. Babbo is cosy but quirky with unique artwork inspired by family. Your restaurant, a home from home, is a place to tell stories and create new memories with friends and family. The ambience and service is great but two main issues: 1) while the starters (tempura prawns and mushroom truffles) were v good, the quality of our mains was nowhere near what you get in this part of London. The risotto was too heavy on the cheese and the seared cod lacked flavour. 2) i asked for a virgin old fashion (as i dont drink alcohol) but wad charged the going rate of £12 for an actual old fashion. When i queried, i was told they are charging me for some in house syrup which honestly didnt make any sense but by that point i wanted to get out of there. The service, music and ambience is great but definitely improve on food.

Excellent service, food was amazing, staff were welcoming and friendly, good ambience created by the live DJ And tiramisu was fantastic to finish off our evening meal

Service was super professional and warm, food was amazing and tasty! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Will come back here definitely! Best of luck for a great restaurant team!

Lovely place, nice decor, small select menu reasonably priced for this part of the city. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Asked for tap water at the beginning and a big bottle came which was charged at £4 , overall the food was really good, apart from the 12.5 % service charge
