A great restaurant. Every dish was a hit as was the wine (a lovely Etna red). Charming, warm service too.

My partner and I ate at Baccala for the first time and wow! We were seriously impressed. The service is impeccable, they go above and beyond to explain the menu, wine and high end ingredients. The food was amazing, beautiful ingredients and attention to detail with every dish. The wine was also very good and we love our organic wine. We will definitely be back and recommend it as one of the best restaurants on Bermondsey Street by far!

A last minute New Year’s plan to find a restaurant we could go to before a party. Great service with care and attention and delicious food. It felt very special and we can’t wait to return.

excellent unusual italian seafood. it is expensive but this was an xmas catch up with an old friend, 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 glasses of wine - 83£ each.
