Serving up authentic, Mexican street fare, and a selection of over 100 tequilas and American whiskeys. Bakersfield is a spot where the food is simple, the service is warm and the atmosphere is alive.


We do offer a heated outdoor dining experience during the winter months. These tables are located in a covered and enclosed tent with heaters spread throughout. We recommend dressing warmly if the temperatures outside are below 40 degrees.

    We had 5:15 reservations and showed up on time. We immediately ordered our queso and drinks. By 6:25 we had to flag our waiter down to get our bill. He never came to refill any of our drinks or check on us. I think they may have just been short staffed but we had a 6:30 show so we had to hustle to pay and get out of there.

    Table was 15 minutes late for a 5:30 reservation We had a party of five and they brought four place settings. I asked for a fifth, and they never brought it Missed one of our tacos -- took 15 minutes to bring it out It's a good spot for quick tacos and margaritas before a game or concert -- but it's clearly just a volume shop where they like the churn. No attention to customer satisfaction

    This wasn't my first time here, and the experience was the same. Enjoyable environment, food/drinks, pricing and staff. Would go there again.

    Tacos were super salty unfortunately..but maybe just that batch. We loved the ambience and will go back again!

    Seated us 40 minutes late for reservations Making us late to the game. Should not take reservations if they can’t keep them to a reasonable wait

    Normally when you place a reservation with a restaurant, it is honored and you a provided with a table in a timely manner. That is not the case at Bakersfield. This has happened to us multiple times now where we arrive at our reservation time and are told no tables are ready for us. 40 minutes after our reservation time we were finally provided a table. The whole time the hostess and staff in general were very nonchalant and didn’t seem apologetic in the least. We enjoy Bakersfield and it is a great stop before games at LCA, we will be wary of going there anytime in the future however given the level of service.

    Once again amazing food and service. A staple when we go to a Red Wings game or a concert at LCA.
