We arrived promptly at 6;45 for our highly anticipated reservation at bar sardine just to be told they had over booked, the restaurant was at capacity, and we had to sit outside. As we walked outside we quickly realized the construction site was nothing like the mood and vibe of the inside which is a main part of why people love the restaurant so much. The space outside was crowded and loud. When we asked to wait for our table inside we were told it would be over an hour wait even though we had a reservation. It ended up being over a 2 hour wait. Once we were seated, it was not acknowledged that we had just waited for over two hours for a table we had a reservation for. We were very disappointed because we know this restaurant is with a restaurant group and should be aware of how to manage reservations and anticipating dining time for each party. Although the food was good, we were very disappointed in our overall experience at a restaurant we were very excited to try

Reservation was at 7:30 didn’t get sat until 8:15. But food and service was great!

A cozy romantic atmosphere, elevated service. I'd recommend ordering something other that what we did which included the chicken dish and the sausage dish.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were told there was no time limit for seating at the bar, but the chef approached us to insist we leave due to a supposed time limit—while other patrons, who happened to be white, remained seated far longer without issue. To make matters worse, service was lacking; we had to repeatedly ask for basic items like drinks and bread. The unequal treatment and disregard for fairness left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I expected better and will not be returning.

Very cute little bistro. Noise level very loud . There seems to be an acoustic problem and very hard to talk. It was difficult hear anything our female server was saying. Personal table touches by chef was a nice. French fries were perfect. I would have like to know the price of the fish special and very surprised when it was 95.00 on the bill. Choice of salt on butter is great. No champagne on NY eve was a miss. Escargot sauce was awesome.

Had the best time at Bar Sardine. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!!
