Bar Siena expands to Chicago's North Shore suburbs with their most recent location at Old Orchard Mall. Located next to Nordstrom, the new restaurant boasts an 8,500-square-foot interior along with two expansive patios. Much like its West Loop sister spot, Bar Siena North Shore combines the quaint charm of trattorias in Siena, Italy, with the industrial aesthetic of Chicagoland. Our party was traveling about an hour for this birthday celebration. The entire Bar Sienna team was engaged to ensure this was the best experience. The atmosphere and ambience was the perfect mix of upscale yet casual. Food was delicious, not a bite left on the tables. Definitely would return.

They sat us in a covered outdoor area in the corner by the door, tucked away so the server couldn’t see us. It was so cold and unenjoyable. When we complained they finally moved us and we brought up the lack of service, the manager offered a round of drinks. The drinks never came and nothing was taken off the bill. Expect much better from a restaurant like bar Siena

We dined earlier this week at the Old Orchard location. Service was great! Food and drinks were delicious! The only complaint is that we were seated on the patio. Unfortunately, we were near the exit door. It was freezing by the end of our meal. One couple had to move to a different table. We did not asked to be moved. It would nice if they placed a portable heater near those exterior tables.Just wanted to mention it for future diners.

Made a reservation. Table was not ready when we arrived. We arrived on time. It took at least 15 minutes to be seated. Our waiter brought the drinks and appetizer in time. But the main dishes took almost an hour to get. The manager came by and said the food would be out in 3 minutes(more like 10). The fries that came with the burger were dry and stale as if they had been sitting under a hot lamp for a while. It was noted in the reservation that we were celebrating birthdays. That was completely ignored. No mention of a birthday. No cake or candle was provided. We probably won’t be back there ever again and won’t recommend it.

We loved going to Bar Siena for NYE!! They are a dog friendly establishment and even have a menu for them. We had no choice to bring our puppy with us as she is only three months old and Bar Siena was so accommodating. If not for them we would have had to spend NYE at home and after a rough year it was so nice to go out! The food was phenomenal - grilled octopus was a 10/10 and so was the lobster linguini. *chef’s kiss* Paulo, the manager, came around to every table to make sure things were on par and it was a very welcoming environment. Beautifully decorated, amazing service, kind staff, and OUTSTANDING food. Highly recommend!!

We had a great meal and the service was good. As soon as many restaurants are these days, it was a little loud but it was New Year’s Eve! Nice to have a good restaurant in the suburbs.

The restaurant, staff and wait time were all great. It’s just the food… it wasn’t very good. It wasn’t terrible but it just wasn’t good enough to warrant charging the prices they charge. The drinks were very good though.

Appreciate the menu, not too many options which allowed for the food to be great. Portion size not great, but the taste made up for it. Manager checked on tables around us, but not with us. Drink specialties were delicious. Food and drink service quick. Good for family meal.
