Bavaro’s opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida.

A company committed to the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza, Bavaro’s stays true to tradition by using hand-crafted, wood-fired brick ovens designed by third-generation Neapolitan craftsmen, a 100-year-old yeast culture, 100-year-old Neapolitan recipes, and top-of-the-line ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

From a restaurant in downtown Tampa that seats 50 guests, to a global brand with a standard of quality that resonates around the world, Bavaro’s has since built 3 additional locations and continues to commit itself to the high-quality, welcoming experience that guests all around the country have grown to love.

Bavaro’s is really a great restaurant. Our server, Maria, was fabulous. She gave me direction as to what I could eat with my allergies and advised me on how they would make the dish. She saw there was cheese on top of my dish and took the entire bowl back and had the staff not only takeoff the cheese, but redo the entire dish. She was very tuned into the needs of the people she was serving. Everything was really good.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our server AJ was exceptional! He made our Bavaro experience amazing! We will definitely be going back!

Overall, we sat outside and it was really noisy due to all the cars on the road either had sirens or revving up their cars but overall a great place to eat close to the Tampa theater, food selection is great and also the atmosphere and the surface was incredible. My only feedback was the pizza very dough like and not all the way crispy on the bottom, all the toppings made it a bit soggy so would try other menu items next time and the pizza didn’t hit the mark for me overall, but the person I was with loved it.

We appreciate the honest feedback Josna! Our pizza is neapolitan style and very different from traditional NY style pizza. Baked at 900°F, you can expect a delicate center and a soft crust with a slight crisp. Best enjoyed with a fork & knife. We hope to see you back in!

Bavaro’s was amazing! Everything about it was great. Kendall was our server & she was a rockstar! The food was phenomenal! Bolognese was amazing! We had a bottle of the Sangiovese wine & it was delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

This time the pizza and tiramisu wasn’t as good as previous. The seasonal pizza was little too wet and crust was soaked.
