Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the Pawn Shop, complete with vintage treasures and curated contemporary pieces. The host greets you in the Jewelry Box and takes you past upholstered walls into the Pearl Lounge and bar. Then you’ll find the Peacock Dining Room and the Locket Private Dining Room separated by a screen wall of antique frames. Each of these rooms are inspired by the delicate yet glamorous details of jewelry.

The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course with unique shareable dishes and twists on classic cocktails. Acclaimed chef and co-creator Chris Santos was one of the pioneers of the small, share plate dining trend that has swept the nation, and with the Beauty & Essex menu, he once again has created waves on the food scene.

    Beautiful fancy dining experience. Very cozy great music warm atmosphere great vibe. Food was bursting with flavor and great food and drink choices. Average size meals so not too small but not too big either a bit pricier but it is more upscale dining. I was extremely pleased with the service and kindness toward my boys. It was a fabulous first experience and great choice for my birthday dinner. Perfect special occasion place.

    We had an amazing experience at this place. The music wasn’t loud but was still enjoyable. The food was spectacular and definitely worth a try.

    The food was excellent, such a refreshing change on a regular menu. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and they toasted us with some champagne and a special dessert! The people were wonderful. We just loved it.

    This was by far the best dining experience I've had at Mohegan Sun. I knew from the minute we walked in that it was going to be special! Our server, Brian was very knowledgeable on everything on the menu, including cocktails, wines and the food offerings. He was wonderful! The staff was very attentive, but not intrusive. We will definitely be back!

    The entire vibe was incredible here. The beet and goat cheese bruschetta was to die for and so was the lobster Mac. I loved the Beauty Elixir such a refreshing drink and our waitress was so sweet. Very attentive service I will be back!

    The food was great, but there was definitely no alcohol in my $17 cocktail. It was basically a lot of ice and some juice. I think they may have given me a mocktail by mistake. Food had great flavor and the waiter was great.
