Una experiencia muy recomendable. La hamburguesa, sencillamente la mejor que he probado en mi vida. Jugosa, tierna, gustosa y muy agradable al paladar. Cocinada al punto requerido. El servicio proporcionado por Joshua fue extraordinario.

Fuimos a desayunar y tardaron mucho en servirnos! El desayuno nada bueno y muy poca cantidad. Los niños lo dejaron casi todo. Y no me gusto la experiencia para lo mucho que pagamos.

The Cavalier was decorated beautifully. The experience in the Igloo’s was amazing. Our service was fabulous and our Server Aisha was very attentive and super nice.

There is an issue with the app for making reservations for the igloo at the Cavalier. The Cavalier requires a deposit for that experience and when booking it the app did not ask for the deposit. I then called the Cavalier concerning this and I was told that yes they could see my reservation and that a deposit was not required. You can imagine the frustration of traveling 90 minutes to only arrive and find out that the igloo that I reserved did require a deposit so the evening did not start out well and from what I observed we were not the only customers that was left in the same situation. The app failed us and so did the Cavalier. Honestly when you are expecting one experience nothing could possibly measure up. My only regret was just accepting the lesser experience that we deserve. I have no desire to ever go back and I lack faith in the app to actually make a reservation accurately.

Becca never fails to impress.. The ambiance within Becca at the Cavalier Hotel is refined and serene, providing the perfect setting for conversation, whether it be with a loved one of a business colleague. While the menu leans toward the higher end, it is ideal for special occasions. My wife and I had an outstanding meal served by Samantha, an attentive waitress who has been with the restaurant since it opened after the total renovation of the hotel over ten years ago. Afterwards we carried our glasses of wine a few steps away to the Raleigh Room for jazz night, which included two talented singers, one of whom was Miss Virginia 2024. All-in-all, there is no restaurant or venue in the Tidewater area of Virginia that rivals Becca.

We visited Becca for the first time with friends in town for an event. While waiting for our food, a 15-pound wreath fell from the wall, hitting my friend on the head and spilling water and drinks on her and her phone. The wreath appeared poorly secured, likely with a command strip rather than a proper hook or nail. It took 5-7 minutes for the restaurant and Food & Beverage managers to respond. The restaurant manager was initially condescending, asking how many fingers he was holding up before realizing the seriousness of the situation and asking if my friend needed medical attention. She declined but requested compensation. At first, he only offered to dry clean her pants, and we had to insist that he cover her meal despite the whole table being affected. The Food & Beverage manager was more polite and apologetic, but for a restaurant at the Historic Cavalier Hotel with such high prices, the service was unacceptable. This was not a minor issue, and the restaurant manager needs significant customer service training to handle serious incidents appropriately.
