Under the guidance of his Italian-native mother, and heavily influenced by his travels throughout Italy, Jake Imperiale opened Bella Napoli in 2001 to meet Kansas City's need for authentic Italian food, wine and market goods. Jake hand selects each product for Bella's deli and market and every item is imported from Italy. Wander across the room and you'll be immersed in an atmosphere as authentically Italian as it gets. An integral element of Bella Napoli, the pizzeria offers a variety of traditional Italian dishes.

                        Glad we tried this place! I can't believe we didn't know about this place before. Love the neighborhood vibe. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but if you persevere and don't mind walking a block or so you won't have a problem. Nothing fancy; very quaint and full of atmosphere. Staff were all great and very friendly. The place isn't very big so definitely make a reservation. They have their own twist on popular Italian dishes. Everything so so flavorful. The bread basket is mei and could use some improvement but everything else was delicious. I had the tortellini which was excellent - really liked the cream sauce. My husband had the lasagna with the Bolognese sauce as an upcharge -wonderful flavor. We shared the pistachio cheesecake for dessert - very light and flavorful. They have a good selection of Italian wines by the glass, along with a full bar. You won't go wrong here!

                        Our waitress, Scout, was the best. She was warm and welcoming. Highly professional, knowing all the food items! A great restaurant that we will continue to enjoy!
