Bellanico fue creado tras el éxito del restaurante Aperto, abierto por Chris Shepherd y Elizabeth Frumusa en Potrero Hill, San Francisco. El Bellanico está situado en el distrito de Glenview, en Oakland. El nombre Bellanico procede de los apodos de sus hijas, Bella y Nico. We were outside so there was some street noise. But the heaters were pleasant and the food good. Wine and dessert were excellent!!! Pasta was fresh.

While the food was very good the whole experience was ruined by terrible service. We sat for 45 minutes with just a glass of water. Only after asking the 3rd person (probably the owner) for at least our glass of wine did we get some service. Meanwhile, the table next to us who had just arrived were served and finished their first course before we got anything.

Excellent service. Beautiful dishes. Lamb was cooked to perfection. Happy hour was from 5 to 6 and featured special wine offerings. Can’t wait to go back.

We came here for dinner as part of a girls night out. Everything was amazing from the time we stepped into the door to the time we left. We are greeted with smiles and quickly sat at our reserve table. We were greeted within minutes by our server and ordered a few appetizers before ordering a few pastas to share. You could tell the food is made with love and the staff really enjoy working there. It felt like the staff working there were part of one big happy family. We will definitely be back.

Cozy neighborhood bistro with world class service and food. Upscale without any pretension. Always a warm welcome and delicious. Good for conversations. So grateful for this gem. Bar seating is great if you can’t find a table.

Always delicious and welcoming, Bellanico made my birthday special. Delicious food and a candle on my dessert. Highly recommend.

We were delighted with our dinner at Bellanico. The food was delicious and attractively served. Our waitress, Maya, was helpful, attentive, and friendly. The prices are very reasonable for the value. We will definitely return!
