   Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend for a date night or just a pleasant evening out. The drinks, food, service and experience was almost michelin star! The wait staff was professional and extremely proficient in English and German and provided great recommendations.

   I usually dine at this restaurant whenever I am in Mainz, and always found the service to be impeccable and overall professional. The food is aesthetically pleasing as well as well prepared & tasty. This time, I made the reservation for my parents in Germany based on my previous experience at Bellpepper. The staff was especially helpful in allowing me to organize my mother’s bday from New York, and helped me in making this evening memorable for her. My parents loved the food and especially loved the friendly staff.

   Service was super slow! It took 50+ minutes for the food and 30-40 minutes for a slice of apple pie (that is not even good, nothing special done with it)! We asked if they have apple cake (apfelkuchen), server said they have but not on the menu so we said we want to taste it. Not knowing it was apple pie!!! That is our first and last dining there. Never ever again!!!

   The starter and dessert were good, but we did not like our main courses, nor did we think they were priced right. We had a Homeland and a Go Green. The service was good, and we liked the location of our table near the open kitchen. We thought we would be seated in the tubes, but apparently they are not open for lunch.
