He ido varias ocasiones a Benihana, es la primera vez que asisto a Addison y fue fatal, tenía reservación y me hicieron esperar en la puerta por más de 30 minutos, la mesera que nos asignaron fue pésima, solo fue a mi mesa cuando llegamos y al final a llevar la cuenta, me cobraron menú de 6 tiempos para varias personas y el helado nunca llegó ni el menú completo, la persona que me tocó para que cocinara para nosotros nos hizo muy aburrida la estadía, nos comenzó a contar su vida privada y eso me molestó todo estuvo muy mal

Didn’t have to wait to long to be seated server was nice. The cook was nice as well(very good host/cook). Food was very good.

We have eaten at Benihana many times over the years, first at North Dallas, then Plano/Legacy, and this latest at Addison. We chose Benihana in celebration of both our birthdays, which are a day apart. While the food was good, the experience did not meet our expectations: - We were not offered forks. We did ask, and they were offered after a portion of our food was already served. - We enjoyed the soup, but we never received our salad. - Our fried rice was served in a bowl, which was literally dumped onto our plates. - The shrimp "appetizer" was actually served as a side to our entree. - Before my Filet Mignon was served, I asked that it be but into smaller bite-sized pieces. It was then cut into such small pieces that it was over-cooked by the time it was served. - No mushrooms were cooked with the Filet Mignon. - We were never even offered dessert. - For whatever reason, the bill was somewhat more that expected, and our birthday coupon was refused because it is no good on the weekends. This last is probably my own fault for not reading the fine print, but I do not recall it ever being refused before. And that was our sole reason for being at Benihana. All in all, the experience was mediocre at best, and it certainly gave us no reason to return.

i wouldn’t go back to this location…. super dirty!!!! slow service (but knew that from past reviews, so . ok) food - different and very salty (no longer using low sodium soy… and ALLLLL the butter- even asked for light butter) soup, sauces not as good or flavorful * soup dark brown now… i guess i can say the meat wasn’t completely killed??? 👍🏼 but no flavor other than salt (side sauce weak in flavor- so no help there)… yeah- i’d say disaster. the reno from old hibachi spot was a major down grade too. BUT - they have an extra large party table…. so if you need a double table. here you go.

Although the teppanyaki experience was amazing and the food from there was delicious, there was a lot to be said about the service.

The sake tasted like honey, the salad was almost frozen (clearly made that and dressed that morning and out in fridge) the rice was super bland on hibachi and by the time we got our protein - all other food was cold. Not worth the price AT ALL.

It was definitely a good time for a crowd like we had. The manager was so nice, funny and friendly. He tried his best to make up for how long it took to get our drinks. Every time we ordered, it was seriously like 15 minutes before we received them. That was even while we sat at the bar before we got to our table. It was my boyfriend and our son’s birthdays. We told multiple people. Other people got a song and the regular birthday treatment. We never got it. The food was decent though, I have had much better. I never had hibachi rice without any flavor before. All the waitstaff were very friendly. I don’t know. Maybe they were so slow because they were just overwhelmed. We wouldn’t let this experience curb us from returning. We probably just won’t for a special occasion.
