This was my second time visiting in one month since they remodeled. The first time I visited the food and service were impeccable. This last time the food was good but the service was terrible at first. Until the floor manager stepped in to take over and turned things completely around. The server we had initially was beyond rude and shouldn't be a server in fine dining if he's unable to be friendly and helpful. His name was Damian and he was so rude my Mom was ready to leave. However, either he realized the vibe was off or his manager did so we got someone new and thank GOD we did. Because Lucas turned things around instantly. We didn't love our appetizer which was the spinach dip. Lucas noticed and asked how it could be improved. I was floored given 5 minutes prior Damian told my Mother "NO" when she asked if a drink she saw on the website could be made. Basically, had it not been for Lucas this review and rating would have been drastically different. Thank you to Lucas and his impeccable timing and service. To management, reconsider having temperamental staff who clearly shouldn't be in fine dining.

Food was wonderful ~ this is our second time since they have re opened as BH. Carpaccio is outstanding as are the ribs, pork chop and the Asian noodle salad. They were out of Ahi tuna and not serving the same pinot noir as our first visit. Seems like they are still working out some kinks. Our food came out almost too quickly ~ would have preferred a more leisurely meal.

We had a family celebratory dinner and decided to try BH Wood-Fired Grill based on the menu and wine list. As a family we are not easily impressed; but after 3 different appetizers, 4 different entrees, desert and wine selections and everything exceeded expectations. The service by our main server and team was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. Very friendly, knew the menu but most importantly were proud of their food/service/re-opened restaurant. Will definitely return as it's one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in the East Bay.

The ribs from bounty Hunter are always really good. I wanted some steak last night so I ordered the New York strip, but it was pretty tough, and the flavor was underwhelming, definitely wouldn’t order that again. It’s under new management so understand I gotta get some kinks out in the first few weeks.

What a treat! I was honored to be included in their soft opening Thursday night, before they reopened to the public on Friday. Food was incredible, with generous portions. From the carpaccio to the ribs, coleslaw, Brussel sprouts, fries - my mouth is watering just thinking about it two days later. Beautiful wine to go with it. And it was topped off with a delectable citrus mini bunt cake that was light as a feather accompanied by an amazing Chantilly cream. Service was amazing - attentive but not overly so. It is wonderful to have Bounty Hunter back. The renovations looked great! Will definitely be there for dinner again soon!
