This was our first visit to Bistro 19 in years. No special reason for the absence. We had a pleasant and efficient server who made our visit a pleasant one. We tried various starters and entrees. Everything was very good including my French onion soup and short rib tortellini. The house bread was especially good. The service dragged slightly but it was not a problem.

The sausage gravy and biscuit was very dry. Additional gravy brought out and charge removed from the bill. Service fabulous, drinks great as well as the other entree ordered (smash burger) and the dessert.

Wonderful dinner with excellent service. The mediterranean platter was a large delicious appetizer with a diversity of tastes and textures. Pork tenderloin was superb. Tortellini with short rib was unexpected surprise! Homemade chocolate cake was delicious. Greg, the owner, was very gracious checking on us.

I had the filet. It was cooked properly and was very good. We had the Brussel sprouts appetizer which was also very good.

Excellent food and drinks. Had the crab cakes and the almond chicken. Quite scrumptious. Dessert menu variety was lacking with few in-house so didn’t partake.

Went with that nights special swordfish. Also a featured wine. Wine was a little pricey but good. The appetizer was bruschetta like but a thicker bread. Very nice. My wife had a great cocktail early on with the unfortunate name (Warthog).

Always an excellent experience with excellent service. We shared the beet salad and I can't believe that I thought that it needed more arugula (not a super fan of arugula) but there was generous portions of the cheese and the delicious candied walnuts. I had the filet which was great with ample portions. My partner had the crab cakes which were above average (but we are crab cake snobs as my family was from the Eastern Shore of MD (home of the blue crab) as we prefer them broiled rather than fried. The Black Manhattan was tasty but I have to remember to order it straight up because it came on a pile of ice which I had to dig out. It was a Valentine's Day celebration and a nice night.
