Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. I’ve been to BJs numerous times and have had good experiences. I made a reservation 2 weeks prior for 16 people. I called and increased the number to 18. I specifically asked if they could accommodate a party that large as I had called 2 other places that were not able to. The manager I spoke with told me they could accommodate up to 20 without a contract. I asked if we would have a room and was told no but we would have an area to ourselves. The night of the dinner a few others came that I was not expecting. We were still under 20 people. The hostess was very annoyed. We were crammed in 2 tables that were very close to other tables and were not able to utilize one of the empty booths. (That remained empty the entire time) The general manager said they were grossly understaffed and he would be waiting on our table. He was very friendly and was working hit butt off. We were seated for 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. It took another 30 minutes to get some of the drinks and 3 others didn’t arrive until we asked about them. 3 of the drinks were incorrect. We placed our food order and there was a significant wait before the food started coming out. My son’s prime rib was about 30% fat and overcooked. 3 meals didn’t arrive until we asked about them. Our reservation was for 6:30. We paid our bill at 9:16. I understand we had a large party. We expected it would take a little longer than normal due to it being such a large party and a Saturday night however this was excessive. I wish they would have just told us they couldn’t accommodate us so we could have found something where we could celebrate my son’s engagement comfortably and actually interact with each other.

Our waiter was incredible! He even turned on that OSU game on for me! We had more people than we thought and he was ok to help us move to a bigger table. We had 10 people and had a great time because of him!!

Asparagus was over salted, but was replaced very quickly. Otherwise, it was great

Arrived and seated at 7:30. After ordering it took 45 minutes to receive our order which consisted of two pasta dishes from the kids menu and one salmon entree. The restaurant was not overly busy even for a Saturday night. Food quality was mediocre at best. There are much better options out there.

Food was very good. I ask for butter for my broccoli, never received the butter. Ordered a second drink before dinner and it came 2/3 during dinner. We were told the bartenders were busy????

Be aware that if you make a reservation, it doesn’t really matter. They said they have a 20 minute grace period to see you past your reservation, which is understandable, but our seating was significantly past that timeframe. They also had an issue with their Internet, which took them out for about 30 to 40 minutes. When we finally did get seated, they ended up putting us in a room where they had a giant party coming in. We were the only table in there that was not a part of the party. it was cramped and people kept bumping into us, etc. not sure why they did that because the dining room area was pretty empty. Service was slow. The food was decent and we do like the variety in the menu selection. This is the first time I was disappointed in a trip here, but it seemed to be a triple whammy.

We had a great dinner, our server was incredible. The food was fresh and came quickly. As always, the pizookie hit the spot!

Could’ve been better! The first meal had to go back, ribeye was ordered with no seasoning twice, and came loaded with so much salt, cut of meat had tendons and was tough. When the 2nd meal FINALLY came out it was without the side that went back & cool transparent shrimp. When I asked about the side, the service that I already had my side I explained to her that she took that back. Never offered a manager to come talk to me and I didn’t wanna make a scene as there were 12 of us celebrating a birthday. We waited long enough for the food, but my meal came with desserts. Incorrect drinks were brought out we didn’t say anything. It was overall very lackluster service and dining experience all around.

Date night. Ahi salad & a beer was $35. It is nice but overpriced imo.
