Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better.     Great from start to finish. We had a main server and an intern-- both were great. Food is always wonderful, well portioned and cooked to order!

    When we arrived they did not honor our reservation and we were told it would be at least 45 minutes. Our party of six included three small children and we ended up having to get fast food. Was there an apology? No, instead the girl at the stand said we “should have arrived earlier.” We were five minutes early for our reservation. Never again will we be back.

    Our server Tammy was fantastic and the food was good. Once at our table, everything was fine. However, they don't seem to understand the concept of a reservation. We had a party of 10 on a Saturday evening so we made a reservation at 6 pm. We arrived shortly before 6 pm and were told that it might be an hour wait for our table. Given we were a party of 10 and it was Saturday evening, we didn't have a lot of options if we wanted to eat dinner out and we were celebrating two birthdays that evening. The hostess seemed very perturbed with my questions about the reservation and did not seem to understand the concept of a reservation because she said there were other people with reservations and walk-ins. After 15-20 minutes, we went to check where we are on the list and when the hostess showed us, we saw there were people with 6:15 pm and 6:30 pm reservations ahead of us. The hostess said "they checked in before you". We made a reservation so we didn't have to get there early and wait. We ended up being seated at 6:35 (after people with later reservations). In the words of Jerry Seinfeld "you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them." The purpose of a reservation is for the table to be ready at the specified time. If you can't make that work, then don't take reservations.

We'll address this with the staff and make sure it doesn't happen again. We would like to make it up to you.     Overbooked during a UK game. Waited 45 minutes for a reserved table. They blamed it on Open Table overbooking.
