Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. We had reservations for 3 at 4:45 on a Saturday. We realized at 3:45 we would likely run late, we changed our reservation on the app to 5:15. When we arrived at 5, they had our reservation and we were seated right away. The service was good and timely. There was a bit of a wait for our check, but there was a QR code at the table to pay, so we just checked out that way with no issues.

Table for two for a business lunch. Service was good. Restaurant wasn’t too busy for late lunch and it was easy to carry on a conversation. Server was good and food and drinks came out quickly. It’s my go to place for me since it’s close to SJC.

DO NOT make reservations here, as the restaurant does not honor them. My family and I arrived at 5 pm for our reserved table, as we had tickets for an event. We were told there would be a 10-minute wait. At 5:30 pm, we were still waiting and saw others with reservations having the same experience. Moreover, walk-in customers were given the same wait times. When I inquired about our reservation at 5:40 pm, I was informed it would be another 20 to 30 minutes, but we could eat at the bar immediately. Frustrated but pressed for time, we opted for the bar. On a positive note, our waitress was exceptional. She quickly took our order and provided outstanding service, which somewhat redeemed our experience.

It's a little bit too dark in the overall restaurant and bar. A slightly more lit area around the dining room would help diners see where they are walking - the dark wood floors, dark furniture and poorly lit area in general makes it hard to maneuver.

Always amazing service at this Coleman Ave. location! Staff is extremely attentive and the food hot and delicious! We will definitely return!
