We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

    We had the sunday roast all in platter. The meats were delicious, the gravy flavourful. Whilst the vegetables were a mix of yummy carrots and cabbage, the potatoes weren't as crispy as I would have hoped. I thought the platter was worth it, but my partner didn't particularly like the cut of lamb he got as he said it was tough. We would come back again but perhaps get individual meats instead of the platter. We didn't think the cauli cheese was worth it, we couldn't really taste the 'four cheeses', but the mushroom on toast starter was delicious, although it came late - something our waiter made up for...we really enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake, as always!

    We came here for a roast on a Sunday and it was brilliant! Would recommend and will be coming back.

    Proper food. Lovely roast dinner. We went “all in” and loved every bite. Would 100% recommend!

    Unfortunately very underwhelming experience. Had been looking forward to this family booking for 2 months. Food was not warm, cabbage limp, carrots were hard, pork was hard. Potatoes were amazing though.

    Very good all round.. although my partner felt the food could have been a touch hotter.. personally found it all nice

    Food was very good. A great variety and our waiter Lewis was very good and informative. We will definitely be returning.
