Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's).

    Ten, ten! Delicious from start to finish! Best value is on a Monday but any day that you come is worth the spend! For meat lovers who do not require tons of seasoning but enjoy the flavour of quality meat (pause), this is a dream! Get down there!

    We really had good time. Lovely place, great service. Food was very very good, everything we tried was delicious. Defo recommend.

    Disappointing, I have eaten at Blacklock three times in the last month. The first couple were just ok as I was a walk in, sat at the bar and denied access to larger steaks. However the salads were good and the steaks OK. I thought that by booking, me and my wife would have a better experience with assistance with choosing a large steak to share and perhaps better service. Sadly the service was lack li=ustre and might even be described as somewhat dismissive. The steaks were thin and touch - very chewy would be a compliment and we had no assistance with the menu. I have eaten a couple of times at Ibai and think will mak ethat my regular go-to in future.

    I love this restaurant, the staff are so friendly and the food is always excellent. This visit was to enjoy their ‘Butcher Price Monday’ offer which is great value and you get some excellent cuts of meat. I’ll definitely be back

    Always have the best time. Food is incredible and the staff is really lovely and super helpful.

    The food and staff are excellent but sadly on this occasion the service wasn’t of the usual high standard. Will send a private note.
