You’ve reached the home of deliciously authentic and fabulously fresh Turkish and British dining in Stanley, co. Durham.

The Blue Bell has been a hub in the community for many years.

The main restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and special occasions, serving speciality dishes from Turkey and some traditional British meals, including traditional Sunday lunch.

We offer an ice cream parlour featuring a variety of delectable flavours, creamy milkshakes, a vibrant play area and a relaxing beer garden.

We have a disabled entrance to the rear of the property with a ramp to the entrance straight from our large car park.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Tasty food, which is good value for money. The staff were very friendly too.

First time in visiting, we received a gift voucher for Christmas so made the most of it in celebrating our anniversary with a meal. Food was beautiful and the service was excellent (infection was really fast) all round lovely night

This was our fourth visit and we have consistently enjoyed great food. The staff are always attentive, but not pushy, and we always make plans to return.

Unbelievable food! Cooked fresh, Friendly service. Went above and beyond. Even made me a dish they don’t sell anymore because it’s my favourite. Would highly recommend

This was our first visit and didn't know what to expect but after seeing it on the OpenTable website decided to try it out. We weren't disappointed. The good was fab. The venue was comfortable, clean, and attractive.
