Bonobo Bar & Canteen is a bar/club located in the heart of Chester. We offer a wide selection of cocktails, craft beers, dirty burgers, Detroit pizza, chicken wings & boast the best sound system in the city.

Established in July 2021, our goal is to provide Chester with a top-tier underground music venue.

Our dedicated team focuses on delivering:

Over the past 3 years, Bonobo has hosted renowned artists such as Hannah Laing, Ben Hensley, SOSA, Jack Master, Ben Sterling, Max Dean, Luke Dean, Rossi, ANOTR, Darius Syrossian, Sammy Virgi, Enzo is Burning, Paige Tomlinson, Mason Collective, DOD, Kolter & Interplanetary Criminal among other heavyweights in the electronic music scene.

I booked a table for 8 people for bottomless brunch. Overall in 2 hours we had been served 4 drinks. The advertising is ‘bottomless pizza and bottomless drinks” yet it took an hour for our pizza to come, and when we ordered more, it was raw dough. We about this and they offered us another round of drinks, because our official time had ‘ended’. The servers were lovely people, but clearly they were understaffed, with one of the girls only being on her 3rd shift and trying her hardest to get us more drinks. Due to only having 4 drinks in two hours, they offered us a further round, adding to 6 total. I was happy with this, however in any other bottomless brunch (of which I’ve had my share), I usually get around 8-11 drinks. This place has so much potential to be an amazing bottomless brunch, however after coming for this experience twice, and hoping for better, I was again disappointed. The pizza tasted great (other than the raw dough), however upon my first experience here it was ‘Detroit style’ pizza in deep pan squares. This seems to have changed to having a full 9 inch pizza each, which defeats the object of bottomless pizza (as you are full from one pizza and cannot try others). As there was 8 of us we did share, but it was not as advertised. The selection and quality of drinks was great! And if we had had better service this would have been the best part. Overall, wouldn’t recommend unfortunately. Out of the two occasions I have been here, and multiple friends I have known to come in the past, all of which have been disappointed with the experience.

Brunch service was quite slow, took 35 minutes into our 90 minutes to get our first drinks and about 50 to get our food. Music was good and drinks were nice, but probably wouldn't go again.

service was quite poor foodwise. we had 20 minutes left of our time and still no food.

Highly recommend bottomless brunch, unlimited drinks and pizza. Rielah looked after us and she was fab, always made sure we had a drink.

Really enjoyed food and drinks here. We were upstairs, with children and they had access to computers games to play and keep entertained. All the staff really accommodating, our server was fab and even the chef came out to help us pick the games. Brilliant place to go!

8 of us went for the bottomless brunch, the service was excellent and the food great my favourite was the chicken burger it was spicy but not too spicy. We tried nearly every cocktail on the menu they came quickly and were delicious, thank you for helping make it a great birthday we'll definitely be coming again

Visited @ 1.30pm for brunch. The choices were great, food was ok, the value for what you get vs price was great. The volume of the DJ was quite loud for the time of day. The lady who served us was brilliant, very attentive and placed our orders quickly. She’s need a pay increase! Speed of service from the bar/food was lacking. Would visit again.

Great venue! The music was great but extremely loud if you’re wanting to socialise with friends but apart from that it was great and the service was brilliant. Pizza was lovely but very filling so didn’t have too much!
