Bottino charged us 3% for using a credit card! Everyone pays using credit cards at restaurants and I’ve NEVER seen a credit card charge line item on a bill before. They’d better change their policy or they’ll lose my business and everyone else’s. In a competitive city like New York, where restaurants close all the time, this was a very short-sighted decision by managementz

excellent food, the service was great. The place ran like clockwork the owner was continuously moving thru the restaurant, recommend the Fried artichokes and the lemon ravioli well worth the money. Antony the owner is very knowledgeable on wine selections.

My friends and I had an excellent dinner! The food and Service was really great, and Anthony(the manager)was an amazing host! I’ll be back. Highly recommend

We had another lovely dinner at Bottino, this time to celebrate a birthday. With a group of 7, we could order an expansive menu to share. The new dishes included the polpettine (berkshire pork meatballs), campanelle (apple cider braised pork cheek ragu), and a special squid ink pasta, all of which were fantastic. The boar shank was a table favorite. As usual, each dish shone through its fresh ingredients, cooked simply. The service was its normal exceptional experience.

Dined before heading over to Chelsea Pier Sky Rink for a college club hockey game (Go Drexel Dragons). Excellent meal. Highlights were the artichokes, pasta ragu, and wild boar. Nice vibe, hopping on a Friday night. Attentive service. Host / Sommelier was super friendly and let us sample some wines so we could choose really enjoyable glasses. Would definitely return.

Everything was wonderful — thank you!! The salads were perfect. We were interrupted too much for no reason (ie.“…checking in!”) by the server. They can see that we are engaged in conversation, so I’m not sure what the point of interrupting achieves. The server who brought out our main courses was perfect — expedient and smooth — quick to grab fresh utensils, etc. Overall was an exceptional experience! More thanks!
