   Overall was fine. Food was good but not great. Shrimp cocktail was highlight of the night in terms of food. Bourbon selection was top notch. Atmosphere was great, not overly loud or obnoxious. Comparable to high end steak houses in the valley but more convenient for us as we live on north side. Would likely go again.

   We dined on Saturday night to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. We were seated with a reservation in the bar area in a curved booth. This was very difficult to carry on a conversation or even share food in this seating arrangement for five people. I even had to get up and walk around the booth to share some items. I couldn’t hear people at the other side of the booth either which was unfortunate. Aside from the seating, the food was great as usual and as expected, very very expensive. We typically only come for special occasions and even then at most 1-2 times a year only. We do enjoy our experience, however, or we wouldn’t return. Next time I will know to specify other seating arrangements.

   We enjoyed the ambiance. The colors, decor, textures, comfortable booth seating - noticed the beautiful blue high quality leather bench in the booth and the soft, interesting gray backrest. all staff were friendly and helpful. Water filled without asking. Food excellent and cooked to our specifications. Thank you Sara, our waitress. The bar area we noticed had exceptionally comfortable looking chairs and a beautiful countertop - I am sure it would be comfortable to eat there or outdoors. I loved the outdoor heaters - looked like huge lamps! Thank you.

   What an absolute train wreck! I would rate this as one of the top five WORST dining experiences of my life. 1. I SPECIFICALLY requested standard seating in the reservation and noted that we were celebrating a birthday. Instead of standard seating, we were seated at a high-top RIGHT next to the bar, which made even normal conversation almost impossible. The extra special touch was having to listen to the pervy old drunk dude and his rhinestone cowboy clown friend trying to carry on the most asinine (and very loud) conversation with two other female patrons at the bar. 2. Our server was sub-standard at best. I do not know if it was a logistical issue or if she was just bad at her job, but it was REALLY frustrating when tables were being seated AFTER us, and they had water and bread while we were still waiting for menus. 3. This is where I absolutely lost my mind with the whole experience. A GREAT restaurant has the ability to course correct and fix a situation. I wanted to give the restaurant the address to the situation, so I approached the manager at the front and asked to speak to him. I told him about my frustrations, and he apologized for letting us down and said he would take care of it. And then... NOTHING. Having another manager drop off the appetizer was "the fix." We were not reseated. Not a single manager followed up to see how we were doing. Nothing. It was just more of the same bad service. It became very obvious that Bourbon & Bones did not care about us and our experience. I wonder what it is like to be so good at what you do that you do not have to care about customers. I do not think for a second that I matter to B&B. I do not think anyone I share my experience with matters to B&B. But it is REALLY disappointing when you are presented with the promise of an exemplary dining experience, and you realize that that wasn't part of the deal at all. I won't be making that $400 mistake again.

   pretty good for steak, bones, rock cut with A5 wagyu, ribeye with bone, Filet in Bone. More than 50 types of whisky bourbon. Next time should be Tomahawk!

   I have not had such fantastic and professional service in a really long time. Very impressive!!! The wine list was crazy, with a $9000 bottle! But the bourbon list of over 600 bourbon was even crazier! My first time here, and I brought customers, and everyone left happy. I had the petite fillet, and they had the Seabass and Ahi, and everybody’s dinner was delicious and my fillet was perfectly prepared, and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The prices are pretty high, but I researched so was not shocked (except some of the wines! Wow!), and the only part I wouldn’t recommend was the caesar salad.  The dressing was so light we couldn’t taste it, and when we asked for extra (which I never ever do), the dressing was not as garlicky as I prefer, and we could not taste any anchovy at all, but other than that, everything else we had was delicious. The asparagus and the brussels sprouts on the side were also fantastic. I do recommend.
