Anthony our server was great. A bit disappointed that there was no observance of the birthday in the party.

                                                                                                                                                                                  It was our first visit, but no stranger to Vanderlay Hospitality restaurants. The food was excellent and unfortunately our visit was let down by the poor service. Asked for ice tea with sweeter, waited 5 minutes for the sweetener, then no spoon. Used fork in front of the server, and while he was shocked he still didn’t bring a spoon. My partner was asked which condiment he wanted with his fries, no ketchup was brought so again needed to follow up. We were our servers only table for the first 30 minutes and thankfully the woman from another section offered additional tea and cleared our empty glasses. I share this as it has not been our experience at other restaurants.

                                                                                                                                                                                  What a fun and delicious lunch to celebrate my cousins from England visit to Dallas. Appetizers of Cheese Toasts, Oysters and Spinach Dip followed by entrees of Speciality salads, 2 beef Filets and Salmon along with cocktails were perfect. Sebastian, our server, was friendly, courteous and attentive to our need. He made our dinning experience a memorable one.

Dressing for salad didn’t come with salad. Took too long to get. Asian salad way way over saturated with dressing and so little noodles veggies that we had to use the salad that had no dressing to mix together, the corn bread came at the end of the meal. They advertised online and on the menu items they don’t have. Just a bit disappointing. First time to Brentwood.

Steak & salmon were perfectly prepared. Bartender even made a fun herbaceous gin drink for us.

Tonight however, the service was so poor, that it ruined the evening. It took at least 10 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. She took our drink and food order and then never returned with our water. I finally flagged her down and she brought us water. When our food finally arrived, both orders were wrong. I had to send my meal back. My husband was literally almost finished with his meal when mine finally arrived. Again, we had to flag our waitress down to bring more water. Although, they did not charge me for my meal, that did not make up for such poor service!

Our server Jonathan was amazing. Service and food were spot on. The Scottish Salmon and pork chop were both delicious! Could not have asked for a more enjoyable dining experience!

The food was just okay and definitely not worth the price. The pulled chicken Caesar salad was really subpar. The chicken was okay but the Caesar dressing was pretty poor. It the first Caesar I've ever had (and that's my go to meal) was sweet.
