Our modern history has seen this building through various restauranteurs. Each of them has done their best to cultivate a brand of high quality food in an upscale, yet comfortable, hometown atmosphere.

Now owned and operated by local family, Brewsters Bar and Grill participates in many community events and fundraisers, serves as a backdrop for your family's celebrations, and remains a fixture in Old Town Galt all year long. We aim to be your destination for Date Night, Special Events, and everything in between and are forward to being a part of the City of Galt’s history for many years to come!

Although I do not remember our servers name she was outstanding! Thank you to her from one server to another! We were celebrating a promotion and she absolutely made my night!

Excellent Food and service. From out of town taking family to dinner. Service was great. Food portions are large and the food is wonderful. All six of us loved our dinners. Great place to go to.

We met friends for dinner and were greeted by a friend of our daughter's, for a warm hug. We enjoyed a nice dinner and were treated like family by several wait staff who were not usy with other patrons at the time, which was very thoughtful of them.

We usually love eating here but this last meal was extremely disappointing. Food, service, all lacking this occasion.

Brewsters is a hidden gem in the sleepy town of Galt. What a fabulous find!!! Located in a historic building, the charm oozed from the walls and tin ceiling. It was pleasantly lit due to a wall of windows overlooking a beautiful brick and trellised patio. We started with the house, flavor- infused vodka & soda which was a surprising treat on a warm evening. Our server, Gabriel encouraged us to try it, and we were so glad we did. For dinner, we ordered the NY steak, smothered in mushrooms and onions with baked potato and asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. The star of the show, however, was the Tuscan pasta w/shrimp w/2 slices of delicious garlic bread.Wow! What an amazing combination of flavors! We didn’t think it could get better, but then we ordered the chocolate mouse cake with ice cream. Delish!!! The portions were hearty and we took plenty of food home. The best part of this fantastic meal, however, was our server, Gabriel. We haven’t had service that spectacular since pre-Covid times! Can’t wait to return with the whole family!

Ambience wasn't what I expected from pictures on website which appeared as quiet intimate setting. However, it is lovely and reminds me of the old brick buildings turned restaurants in my home town in Alabama. Step back in time and enjoy the open dining room or the brick enclosed courtyard. Food was very good. We had Scampi and pineapple teriyaki chcken. Both were tasty, sides were delicious. Scampi is not classic, it is made with feta and olives, not classic white wine butter. I knew it, tried it, liked it. Service was the BEST. Pleasant, thoughtful young lady kept careful watch over us without hovering or intruding.

We love the atmosphere at Brewsters, especially out on the patio on a beautiful day. I had a steak salad and my MIL had the French dip, both were good. We will be back.
