Nice enough with friendly service. We felt 14.5% service was a bit steep and the chairs were annoyingly low for the table. Did the job but not special for the price. Glad we tried it but not rushing back.

Booked this as a special end of A’level celebration for my daughter. Stunning location & food tasty. Service was almost nonexistent however. It took 30 mins before drinks order was taken and they eventually arrived AFTER our starters. We would have happily had another cocktail but knew it would take ages, so had a bottle of wine which we refilled ourselves as the waiter never reappeared. We received our main courses an hour and 35 mins after we arrived and decided we wouldn’t bother with dessert because we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to order! We were sat inside, right next to the bar! Not sure how they managed to ignore us quite so effectively but we were very disappointed with our experience. The food was good but the total lack of service made for a very poor night out.

Dear Jen, please accept our apologies for letting you and your family down on your special occasion. We are glad that you enjoyed the food and setting, but very disappointed at the level of service we provided and needless to say we work hard to delivery so much better. Without wanting to make any excuses, we were encountering some issues last Saturday evening and your experience clearly fell way below expectation. Whilst we understand that it was a one-off celebration for your daughter's A-levels, we really hope that you will consider giving us another chance so that we can make it up to you. Beautiful setting on the beachfront and really good service and food. Tiramisu was delicious!

Very nice,,,, Lovely terrace,, Very nice food! The service was a bit scattered and unorganised!! Not enough attention to detail.. If I can offer some advice,,, I think you need a Maître D to control it all… Whose job it is to keep an eye on “everything”… We had to keep catching the waiters attention all the time…. But,, we had a nice lunch…..

First time visiting Cecconi’s Brighton, have visited in London many times. Was looking forward to it for my partners birthday. However service as really bad, really unorganised- we had to ask for a still bottle of water x3, charged for a desert even though two different staff had said it was cancelled as there were no longer strawberries. Considering the cost of the meal would expect better service. Food was nice though. Unsure if we will return very disappointed.

The food is well prepared and made of high-quality products, the staff is super friendly and the view is superb.

We had a lovely evening, with a table overlooking Brighton Pier, very relaxed, but excellent service. Nice atmosphere, feels a bit more special than a usual Italian. Not the most extensive menu but covers most of the favourites. Not the same as the London restaurant, but still has a charming, relaxed, contemplative style. We really enjoyed it as visitors for the weekend from London, and the view and the staff are the real stars.
