First off it was very cold in the restaurant. Everyone was wearing their coats because of the temperature. Their menu was a special menu that was not advertised very well. So sticker shock at first when we got there. It took 15-20 minutes till our server even came to our table, and it was not busy yet. She did explain the menu well though, so we stayed to try it. This was our first time there. They were running a 4 course menu, but was not a lot of variety. A lot of fish and 1 pasta option, 1 chicken, 1 beef and 4 different seafood options. When I looked at their regular menu, which I thought I was going to get, there was a healthy variety and looked very tasty. Although the starter was amazing and the Tomato bisque was great, my partner’s salad was very basic. Nothing really to it. The main course on the other hand was very tasty. The chicken and prime rib were cooked perfectly. A lot of flavor in both. The jus for the prime rib was utter perfection! So yummy!! Now the dessert. My partner ordered the lava cake and I ordered the cheesecake. They brought out 2 lava cakes, but it took them 20 minutes to bring my correct cheesecake. By that time my partner was done with his dessert, so I asked for it to go, since he was done already, and our noses were so cold from being in the restaurant our noses were running, not exaggerating. The cheesecake was just plopped in the box with a little berry drizzle on top. Very basic. Overall, parts were very good, but the cold dining room, the slowness of the service, the sticker shock at first and the lack of urgency to fix their mistake, this was a terrible first impression. The server did say to come back when they have their regular menu and try them out. Not sure we will. This was our New Years dinner and our date night. Kinda ruined the start. One more thing, as a former restaurant manager, the fact that the manager did not know, or if they did, shows a drop in their management skills.

The staff were wonderful and while everything was busy due to Christmas Eve groups they worked hard to take care of patrons. Much cooperative work and very positive attitudes added to their outstanding work.

Terrible!!! Made a reservation and there was no Host. Walked into the bar and bartender invited us to sit saying he was the Bartender, Server, Busser etc. Ge was not kidding! While he ran around taking care of 6 tables plus guests at bar, the Female manager and about six other staff were preparing the dining room for a large party. Meanwhile, I watched my food sitting in the window for 15 min. Totally unacceptable. Manager had no control of her restaurant.

We’ve been customers for many years and today how disappointing! I believe our server was new! Everyone has to learn, but we were at least 30 minutes getting 2 cokes, 2 coffee’s and cream because she didn’t know where the coffee cups were! She took our order, got it all correct but waited another 15 minutes for 3 Bloody Mary’s! Food came, we were hungry, hash browns were lukewarm, my crab and shrimp omelette was awful! Grinding the crab and shrimp together did not even look appetizing! It was like eating hash stuffed into an omelette!! 3 others had omelettes and they were just not good! A couple of them did not even finish! Hash browns again were lukewarm! This was not a good experience and we left very disappointed as the tips showed! What has happened to BRIX?

Went for brunch, got seated quickly, server didn’t say much, had to request another steak because it came out rare (blue/cold), eggs looked and tasted microwaved, soggy potatoes, and overall lacked seasoning and it all came out lukewarm. Fair pricing. They cut the steak in slices, the kitchen should have immediately noticed the wrong cook on the steak. I didn’t make a huge deal out of it and the server seems reluctant to offer customer service but in the end offered free donuts for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend or go back unless they had meaningful change.

Brix really knocked it out of the park with their Thanksgiving dinner. All of the food was amazing! The turkey was the best turkey I've ever had, there were so many options and sides. Everyone was nice and upbeat. We were so spoiled getting to have thanksgiving dinner at Brix!
