After eating what was possibly the best burger I have ever had at Brooklyn Depot at South Bank, we were excited to take friends of ours out for their birthdays. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. My Depot burger tasted like a McDonald's double ¼ pounder with bacon on it and the chicken fillet in my friends burger was tiny and so over cooked it was too dry to eat. None of the beers listed on the menu were available, nor were the thin Fries, these had been replaced with thick cut fries.

Firstly, the girls that were working front end on Saturday the 13th July were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly and helpful and just really nice which made me happy. They couldn't of been more helpful if they tried and I felt like they just were really wanting us to have a good experience. They were pretty busy too and that didn't stop any quality of service. Secondly THE FOOD WAS A-MAZING. Hot and fresh and just delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos & the FUHGEDDABOUDIT!. Such a great space to for a casual dinner with friends or a more formal gathering in their awesome booths. Guys thank you I can't wait to come back !

First of all they hadn't even received the booking from open table, so all 10 of us turning up as a surprise apparently. it took 50 minutes to get our first order of drinks, no exaggeration either. Friends food was cold upon arrival, was obviously microwaved to heat up after complaint. apparently they've been bought out by someone else and had 4 new staff on that night or something. Was just horrendous. Watch your bills for random "10 or 20 dollar items" whatever they are too. They definetly need time to get used to the system.

Our server was consistently forgetting to bring our drinks over. The presentation of the cocktails was very poor We weren’t given enough plates for meals. I’d made the reservation for the group (10) a week prior and when we showed up exactly on time. There wasn’t even a table set up or cleaned for us we had to wait for the server to find and clean a table. Considering this was for a birthday celebration that everyone had travelled for. It was very disappointing.

The owner went out of her way to help out the kids we had at our table who were restless and picky with food. She was able too assist in getting the kids sorted and and fed so the adults could enjoy some peace. Thankyou for the excellent service

It felt unclean.. service was average. Both my husband and daughter ordered things off the menu only to have the waitress return to say they are no longer doing those meals. Hubby ordered a beer that again was on the menu however got the same news about his beer.. no longer being served. It’s not hard to blank out those things on the menu if you haven’t got time to change them altogether. No I wouldn’t recommend this place .. needs a whole new revamp on service and cleanliness ... time for a new manager maybe??

If you have never even to Brooklyn Depot you go for the burgers but my partner can’t do spicy but loves burgers you really need to put on there you’re sauce is spicy he couldn’t eat the burger so in the end it was a waste of money.

We had a great night at Brooklyn Depot. We were early for our booking which we made easily online. They were happy to seat us and we were greeted very happily and welcoming. Kids were offered games to play and keep them amused. My son is picky and they were happy to make him a burger up with only the toppings he liked. We enjoyed our meals and experience and would happily go back and recommend to friends.

Food was really good, however the music was way too loud and could see even the staff were struggling to hear customers orders. There was also no form of organisation, no table numbers or anything. We got asked 3 times by 3 different staff members one after the other if we had ordered drinks yet. I understand new staff or being understaff but there was no organisation.
