We love big flavors, great burgers, and tall shakes. We believe in Southern hospitality and treating customers like family.

Buford’s Kitchen was born from the talented team behind Pittsburgh’s most talked-about restaurants: contemporary-Asian Pan, flavorful Andora, and fresh Italian Toscana Brick Oven.

Step inside our doors, and you’re surrounded by galvanized metal and reclaimed wood. We’d describe the interior as rustic warehouse chic and our atmosphere as pure Southern friendly.
Breakfast is served all day long, and we hope to see you for lunch and dinner, too. Build your own burger, have a specialty milkshake, or join us at the bar for drink specials. When the weather’s nice, enjoy your meal outside. We have three Pittsburgh-area locations, so you won’t have to travel far for real Southern food.

Great fun atmosphere. Our server for breakfast was awesome, she was so friendly and responsive to our needs. The banana walnut pancakes were excellent. All of us had s great time. My favorite drink is the peach pie margarita 🙂

Food is always delicious. Great value! I've been here with both small and large groups and the service is always perfect. Great atmosphere and super clean. Love Buford's!

First time to Buford's and the food was awesome! We went for brunch and it was hard to pick just one entree from the menu. We made a reservation even though there wasn't a wait when we got there, so we were seated immediately by a kind gentleman. The drink menu was a nice variety. And that's where to positives ended....our server did not bring her A game to work that morning. As I stated, the restaurant was steady, but far from busy, yet she would go MIA for long periods...leaving empty drink glasses and we had been there for 1 hr before we got our food even though we ordered when she brought our drinks. Other servers' tables that came in after us were already eating and getting ready to leave. I wanted to try all the mimosas because they all sounded amazing, but she never came back to see if we wanted any other drinks so I didn't get to. We also had mentioned we wanted to try some of the specialty shots as a "dessert" yet she brought our checks within five minutes of our food arriving at the table. The food was hot and yummy though! I know one bad apple in the staff doesn't necessarily mean they are all bad, but it definitely puts a bad taste in your mouth for future visits...we may go back for the food, but not for the service. Maybe we'll sit at the bar the next time.

We were seated at a high top next to the bar. It took a solo 8-10 minutes for someone to greet us, who ended up also being the bartender. After taking our drink order, he went back behind the bar and attended to bar guests who had just sat down before even getting us our drinks. Normally things like that don't bother me except for the fact that we had already waited a decent amount of time, given that there were maybe four other tables in the entire restaurant. Following that, our food came out but the server didn't stop back much, if at all, to check on us. I have dined at other locations before and the food is delicious. This was an "okay" experience. I would definitely go back, however the service could be a little better.
