In the heart of downtown Sacramento, Butcher and Barrel prides itself on having the finest cuts of meats paired along with the finest whiskeys, wines, spirits and craft beers.     All the employees here were super friendly. It was slow when I arrived, but the people started rolling in and the place was buzzing. I had the dry aged ribeye which was cooked to perfection. The bone marrow was really tasty too and they have an excellent cocktail menu. Will be back

    The owner, Kevin, was the first person to greet our group as we arrived. He was gracious, kind and welcoming. Our server, CC, was patient, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and filling. The boysenberry margarita was very tasty. On a side note, the house made sparkling water was delicious. While we didn’t get the tomahawk steak we did see two other tables get it and the presentation was fascinating to watch. Definitely a bucket list meal plan for the future. Butcher & Barrel is by far the best steakhouse I have ever been to in my 57 years of life.

    Server was prompt, and kept drinks full without asking. Food came out quickly and was right sized portion. Flavors were on point and presentation was top tier. Would def recommend for someone new to area.

    I was really impressed with the service, far and above a lot of other restaurants. They actually care about there guests! Food was very good and would recommend this eatery to everyone.

    Butcher & Barrel food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was also great. The manager came to our table a few times and was so attentive & caring! The steaks were delicious and the goat cheese appetizer is a must!! We will definitely be back.

    Really great restaurant! The service was excellent and attentive. The food was delicious. A second (or third) bartender would be really helpful, as drinks came very slowly, but we were appropriately warned by the waitress, vastly reducing annoyance. We will definitely return.
