We are fine-casual dining with a fire at the core of its heart. Through the smoke and whiskey ashes of the previous iteration which closed its doors in 2020 rises a new haze of smoke and whiskey as we bring back this iconic brand, smoked meats, bourbon, beer, deep hues, and various spaces to a new location in the North Loop. Butcher & The Boar will honor its beloved roots, while spreading new ones in the fresh foundation that will help our guests embark on a journey with notes of nostalgia that carry the torch forward with new tastes and experiences.

The food is just as amazing at this new location as it was at the original, but $87 for the short rib with no sides is pretty pricey. By the time we were done, it was $150 per person.

If you're considering eating here the only answer is "YES!" My husband and I were in town visiting from DC and this was our first restaurant stop in Minneapolis and we loved everything! Not only is the ambiance and food top-notch, the service was premiere. Our waitress Naseem really made our night so wonderful. She gave us a comprehensive run down of the menu and then helped us hone on the selections that would suit us best--and boy, was she spot on! We loved every bite of every item we ordered. I don't know when we'll be back in MN but whenever we are, we will definitely be eating here.

Such a great experience from when you walk in the door until you leave. Staff work well together to create an incredible dining experience. Creatively made cocktails that are delicious and incredible food make this place a hit every time. Ricky was an awesome server too!

Great experience at the cocktail class. The amount of food, drinks, and experience of the instructors make it very much worth the money.

Ended up choosing a booth in the bar but didn’t realize that meant there wouldn’t be a server assigned to us. We waited 25 mins before a server came over to us which left us with 5 mins left in happy hour. I think this is a one off but it was my first time and definitely was a bummer.
