Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

    The experience was phenomenal. Our server, Dayvion, was very attentive and friendly. He made suggestions and made sure our overall dining experience was amazing. The oysters are 10/10!! The French toast was a hit!! I will definitely be back!

    The mushrooms I was served were disgusting. I’ve gotten them before and have always liked them but today they were terrible.

    I had the best time at C&S yesterday …. Every time I come in Alex is always so kind and personable and helpful with my weird OCD and anxiety he always accommodates me no matter the issue…. Then there is Mo my favorite server … he’s always on point with my orders no matter how particular and has this dope energy that engages and makes me laugh and he keeps my drinks flowing 🤣💜…. When you visit please ask for either of them and you WILL NOT be disappointed…. You’ll also have a great time!!!💃🏿💜🤞🏿🥰💜

    Excellent food and service from Kaylin. The manager, Gage, had the operation well under control. Mo walking by and checking on us is always nice. We enjoyed the spring rolls, broiled oysters, lobster salad, seafood gumbo, and fried shrimp. Always a good experience at C&S Seafood.

    My wife and I were very well taken care of by the staff. We wanted to do a gender reveal and Zan, the executive chef, made sure it was an amazing experience. We felt like VIPs the whole night. Also, they have an amazing happy hour deal - a dozen oysters for $22. Highly recommend the king crab and oysters!

    Our first time at C&S was fabulous! Our server, Dayvion, was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful with allergy restrictions. The food was spectacular. All courses came out hot and delicious. Chargrilled oysters had a Cajun flare that was tasty and unique, scallops were cooked perfectly and the lobster Cobb had great flavor. We will definitely be back to try more menu items and will request Dayvion as our server!

    Kel is amazing, please ask for him anytime you patronize this restaurant, he is such an amazing server! I literally come here for his first class service, and attention to detail! He makes the dining experience a 10/10 along with the incredible food.

    We had superior service provided to us by Kaylin H. Extremely attentive and thorough in her knowledge of the menu items, preparation options and complimentary substitutions based on the guests preferred palates. The Brookhaven location is off the beaten path, which reduces the interior noise levels. Overall the wait staff was friendly, complimentary and engaging. I will return soon. Thanks Kim B.
