Cafe Azafran serves up an award-winning blend of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. Each dish from tapas to our large plates will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Menu is subject to change at Chefs request! We have live entertainment every Thursday!!!!
Located on the ocean block of Baltimore Avenue, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Cafe Azafran has a cozy dining area, with a spacious covered screened in back porch, in order to enjoy the ocean air while you eat fresh, delicious menu items.

The food was outstanding and our server was very attentive and checked on us the "right" amount of times. We ate on the covered outside pavilion which was an added plus. Will definitely be back with friends!

A busy night! We had 4 for dinner - lots of small plates to share - all came out hot and perfect. Lots of variety and great tastes. Don’t miss the seafood paella!

I have season tickets to a show at the theater right next-door to Café Azrafan so on a regular basis I have an early dinner and advise the wait staff that I need to be done by a certain time to make the play. They are obviously familiar with the theater and I have never had a problem meeting my timeframe. In addition, I almost always request an outdoor table, which is really a covered patio. It is comfortable, quiet and bright and the atmosphere is very beachy. The food is consistently excellent. Everything I’ve ordered from their new menu is amazing and the last few times I’ve been there I asked the bartender to make a Mocktail instead of a cocktail and although they do not have cocktails on the menu, he made a delicious Mocktail. He remembered what he had made when I came back a couple of weeks later for another show and made them again. I can’t say enough about how accommodating the staff is, the atmosphere and the excellent and creative food offerings.

We enjoyed steak night. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. And the Ginger Martini’s are always the best. The performance was wonderful as well.

We love this restaurant! We had the steak special. Great meal. We had filet, mashed potatoes, salad, and a glass of wine. Our server was great. I have Celiac Disease and he was very aware of my dietary needs. You can’t go wrong eating here any night!👍

Cafe Azafran is my go-to restaurant in Rehoboth Beach for its wonderful Mediterranean-inpsired menu with loads of tapas, charcuterie, cheese boards, and postres. It is an intimate yet convivial setting and, as a solo diner (unless I am with my grandparents), I always opt for bar seating and it is a very enjoyable experience, esecially with the careful attention of mixologist Evan. When last there I had a lamb slider + ratatouille (both small plates) and a vodla martini. Who coulod ask for more/
