   We have had brunch at this restaurant several times and were always pleased with the food. Went for lunch and were disappointed with the food. One of us had the turkey Ruben, one the French dip and the other 2 had burgers. The burger patties were quite small compared to the size of the bun but were otherwise okay. Both the turkey Ruben and the French dip were very small compared to what is served in other OKC restaurants. The Ruben had very little meat, cheese or dressing. The French dip has very little meat on it and was mostly bread. All served with a generous amount of fries which sadly were greasy and not crisp. Overall, the food was mediocre. The service was good and the restaurant is pleasant, with comfortable seating. Recommend it for brunch but not for lunch.

   The Chalkboard has continued to impress us with quality of food and service. Can be a little noisy depending on the crowd. Had brunch this morning and will be back for more.

   Always a positive experience. Had breakfast with friends there. Never feel rushed. Good food and mimosas. Nice to just be able to sit and visit. 😊

   Beef Wellington bites are a bit of a misnomer but they still taste good. What they should do is an actual, little tiny chunk of rare tenderloin in the middle with a chunky paste of pate and mushrooms. That’s would be perfect.

   Sadly disappointed in our choice to celebrate our anniversary here. The food was absolutely bland. We had ants crawling on the table and they even started crawling on me. The ambience is nice but not enough to make up for the food. You definitely are not getting what you pay for when you dine here. We will not return.

   “We tried the quiche, and while the flavor was good, the portion was shockingly small—just three bite-sized pieces. For the price, we expected something more substantial, but instead, we left still hungry. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the cost, and we wouldn’t return.”

   They serve brunches until 5pm and dinner starts at 5pm. Ambience was so quiet and nice for conversation with your friends. Food was great and the service is excellent!

   The food & service were outstanding. The only discomfort was the cold air every time the door to the outside was open. Everyone should come through the hotel lobby to the entrance to the restaurant in my opinion. Otherwise it was wonderful.

    There for Sunday brunch today. Food is generally consistent from visit to visit. Today it took a very long time for our food to come out of the kitchen. One of us had the pecan salad which was extremely overdressed. Literally swimming in dressing which was much too acidic. Other than that, everything was prepared properly and was very tasty. Service was good. My husband left his glasses on the table and they called to say they would hold them at the desk. We are local and return often to this restaurant and we often take out-of-town guests to The Chalkboard.
