We really enjoyed our dinner at Cafe Sebastian. The food was amazing! We had the lamb shank and crab cakes. Service was great too. We got to meet the Chef who was very friendly. We will definitely be back again soon.

THE best dinner we've had in San Francisco in the past year.....EVERY dish was executed perfectly and sooooo delicious! Our server, Will, was the ultimate professional and very gracious! Can't wait to return!!!! Kudos Team Café Sebastian!!!!

More than delightful, the dishes and Service was fantastic. The flavor profiles were amazing on everything from the tuna tartare to the crabcakes and short ribs. Finished off with a fantastic Arigato and delicious brownie. An amazing addition to the neighborhood. Hats off to the chefs.

I enjoyed the food and service with this place being opened for just 2 months. Variable mandated service charge is a little confusing considering weekdays and breakfast times is fast casual “service” where the expectation is full dining. As such the mandated service charge is “discounted”. Full dining experience is for dinner service and this service charge is at the level you’d expect.

The food is fabulous. Chef, Brad Kilgore has brought a fresh taste to the SF dining scene. Service was attentive without being intrusive. They just started serving dinner. Book it now before word gets out and you won't be able to get a table. I can't wait to go back. Best crab cakes ever!

A beautiful space in the new TranAmerica park. Has a very eclectic feel and the food is fresh and flavorful. The Soraya chicken salad sandwich in a croissant was delicious as was the mixed greens with seasonal vegetables: loved their fresh squeezed carrot, ginger and apple juice. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. A must visit !!

The gentleman at the host booth gave us a brusque reception. Seated at a table with a menu and told to order via the QR code encased in a slab of lucite. Had to order full meal on my phone. The five items ordered came out piecemeal, no consideration to timing, delivered silently by a server. The food itself was tasty, with good plating style. Bill, and auto tip suggestion all via phone. There was no further human interaction. Overall a disheartening experience.

Ordering is by QR code, which it’s well past time to stop. The food was delivered inconsistently- two of our party ordered scrambled eggs. The dishes arrived 15 minutes apart. One ordered smoked salmon toast which, though tasty, was an unexpected salmon cheese spread. This was delivered 5 minutes after the second egg dish. Cappuccino was good; one of us ordered regular coffee and we were told they’d run out of half&half. Inexcusable on Sun morning. Staff were pleasant, except for the server, who scowled the entire time and attempted to hand me my plate of food from across the table at the other end rather than placing it in front of me. Overall, the place is attractive and the food is tasty, but they really need to get their service together.
