Cafe Valetta provides seating inside the beautiful heritage surroundings or outside in the manicured gardens, on the veranda or pergola overlooking Queens Park. Open for Breakfast & Lunch 7 days a week. The casual dining ambience is popular with tourists, business clients and local customers.
Cafe Valetta can host group bookings, high tea parties and weddings for up to 100 guests. Providing a perfect setting, this historic venue features stunning original pressed metal ceilings, stained glass windows and beautiful gardens with vine covered pergola overlooking Queens Park.

    My friends and I had a delightful lunch together. The service was friendly and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals and cocktails! We loved the old world charm of the venue and its proximity to the beautiful gardens nearby.

    Staff seemed inexperienced... except for the owner who offered jam for husbands left over Turkish bread. Younger staff seemed to disappear once asking us if we were ready to order🙄...returned 10 minutes later. They seemed to be over staffed. I would suggest more training for the staff..efficiency lacking.

    Our lunch was fine but not great. Perhaps it was an off day - staff questioned whether 12.45pm lunch would give us enough time as they closed at 2pm. That was fine - we were on time for our booking but our lunch didn't arrive until 1.30 and they were already starting to pack up by that stage. Beautiful setting and lovely weather still made it an enjoyable experience but service and food was mediocre for the price.

    I got avo toast with mushrooms and it was very good. Good amount of food for the money. Good coffee too.
