   Prime rib was great. Smoked chicken left a lot to be desired. Was rubbery like it had been heated in a microwave.

   All of our food was horrible. The burnt ends tasted like they were left over from a prior day, the shrimp was cold and sale, the wings were cold.

   Went to a barbecue place and they were out of ribs at 6 pm. Took over an hour after ordering to get food. Two of six meals didn’t even come out then. Shrimp and salmon were clearly left under the lamp too long. We were never told a reason why even after I asked why the tables around who arrived after us had their food. Terrible service. Pulled pork tasted good.

   We went for lunch and was seated right away. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and they kept our glasses full. We will return when in the area.

   Food was good but service could have been better. Really didn’t like the waiter stood over us as we paid . We felt pressured to tip more than he deserved. It took longer to pay then it took to eat.

    Usually Calhoun’s knocks it out of the park. This was not one of those times. In spite of having reservations, we still waited 50 minutes to be seated… at a table that was vacant for at least 30 minutes. Two different times we were told our table was being cleaned. Finally a third hostess went and cleaned our table herself and seated us. This hostess and our waitress were great. That’s all that was good. The food took 45 minutes, and most of it arrived cold. We were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary, and Calhoun’s really let us down. So disappointing.
