AJ was awesome. Super cool experience based on your liquor choice. AJ makes a custom cocktail based around a pairing with liquor, totally unique experience. I'm so glad we found out about Canary before leaving from our stay at Alpenrock!

Canary was once again an absolute delight. We just couldn't get enough. The Cocktails and overall vibe here is unmatched. It is truly a must visit when in Breckenridge. I went with a vodka base tonight and my drink was amazing once again. I got a winter forest inspired drink with berries, and herbs. all of the flavors went well together, and it was really balanced and tasty. I cant wait to come back here!

This secret hidden gem was an incredible surprise! JC the extraordinaire mixologist at The Canary speakeasy created the most delicious individualized cocktails all four of us have ever experienced. You have to indulge if ever in Breckenridge. We will be back!

Stepping into The Canary Speakeasy at Hotel AlpenRock feels like traveling back in time to the Prohibition era. The atmosphere is immersive, with vintage decor, dim lighting, and an undeniable air of mystery that transports you straight to the roaring ’20s. One of the highlights of the experience is their incredible drink menu—or rather, the lack of one! Instead of a traditional list, you simply choose a spirit and describe the flavors or vibe you’re in the mood for, and the expert mixologists craft a completely unique cocktail just for you. It was such a fun and interactive way to experience mixology, and every drink we tried was outstanding. Adding to the charm, there’s even a little canary bird in the speakeasy, tying perfectly into the theme. The attention to detail, from the ambiance to the custom cocktails, makes this place truly special. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a hidden gem with top-tier drinks and unforgettable vibes, The Canary Speakeasy is a must-visit.

We had a memorable and special experience at Canary. I LOVE speakeasies and this one is in my top rated! The space is elegant and it is like a time-travel experience! When you enter it is like you go back in time when cocktails, bars and late night conversations were taboo. The contrast between Canary and the hotel it is hidden in is significant, you feel like you went somewhere else! The drinks were next-level, me and my friends all sampled each other’s drinks and they truly did fit the character of each of us. The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends seeking a unique, exclusive experience. We look forward to coming back and catching a live performance.

The Canary Lounge once again did not disappoint. I went with Tequila this time, and it was a good choice, I got a tropical spicy margarita and I had never tasted anything like it, The flavors went so well together from the fruit to the smoky mezcal to the salt on the rim everything was balanced and worked seamlessly. The vibes were top notch really made you feel like you are in a prohibition era speakeasy. Everything about it is amazing and I cant wait to come back!

Absolutely a must-visit! From start to finish, this was an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar, where we had the pleasure of chatting with bartender JC. Not only did his cocktails keep getting better and better, but his passion and expertise truly shone through. JC is the epitome of a professional bartender—knowledgeable, friendly, and always engaged with his guests. Every guest had questions about the drinks he was crafting, and JC took the time to explain each creation with enthusiasm, sharing the unique ingredients, techniques, and stories behind them. His genuine interest in ensuring everyone had a memorable experience made the night even more special. If you're lucky enough to have JC as your bartender, you're in for a treat!
