Candela Cucina is an upscale Italian restaurant from Servedwell Hospitality in the historic Candleworks building. Candela Cucina is not just another Italian American restaurant, Candela is an authentic Italian restaurant. Candela’s menu ranges from classic Italian dishes to innovative contemporary creations, all crafted with the finest ingredients.

This new concept from Servedwell Hospitality is in partnership with Peter Biondi. Pete has opened other Servedwell concepts and has worked at several NYC Michelin-starred restaurants. The menu is crafted and overseen by Chef Josh Riazi. Josh has been overseeing all Servedwell’s culinary development and operations since 2018. Josh has worked in several highly acclaimed restaurants; most notably, Josh was Executive Chef at Al Forno in Providence, RI. Josh is assisted by Chef Joe Melo, a Servedwell alum, who will oversee daily culinary operations at Candela.

    We went for their Sunday brunch and were very happy. They had a large variety of foods and all was delicious. We will be coming back for sure.

    We had the Sunday brunch buffet on Father’s Day. Excellent service, nice variety of buffet choices, good quality of food. Price was not unreasonable. Would definitely recommend.

    We were anxious to experience this newest Servedwell restaurant and have heard wonderful things about it. We had a reservation and were seated very close to our time. We, unfortunately, had a wobbly table that could not be fixed in spite of the staff being very attentive to the problem. We had perhaps the best Pasta fagioli I’ve ever had and the complimentary bread was delicious. My Chicken Parmesan was very good, but my husband’s Lasagne was way too heavy and now he does not want to return, which is a shame. The service was excellent and the atmosphere quite good, so I hope, in time, we will be back.

    Wonderful scratch-made, authentic Italian food. Fresh pasta and seasonsl specials. It’s so beautiful inside and on the patio. ,

    Candela Cucina is an incredible restaurant. The food is exceptional, the restaurant is bright and appealing and the service outstanding. I always request our favorite waitperson, Ray. He is accomodating, friendly and constantly there for your every need. Candela Cucina is my absolute favorite restaurant to dine!

    This is our fourth time here ! The repeat loves are the Swordfish And The Pistachio Ice Cream . Today I tried the Hot Italian Sausage & Pasta Special and it was delicious ! We sat at a table for two in the inside patio and the tables were set apart just nicely .. service and food is always excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try new things!

    We started with truffle fried zucchini, and then had a Meatball Mikey and Grilled Salmon over Cacio e Pepe. Delicious as always
