   We had previously eaten at the Cap City Diner in Columbus, Ohio, where we had a great dining experience there. When we found out that a new one was opened in Cincinnati, we decided to go there, and brought another couple with us. Great food, great experience!

   My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. Atmosphere was slightly different than others in a good way and the food was delightful. This is a new restaurant that is trying to capture that nostalgic diner feel with daily specials that reflect on yesterdays gone by also adding new dishes with great taste and lots of variety. Our waitress, Precious, made our first dining experience at Cap City ever that more enjoyable!

   Service is great! You feel welcomed from the time you enter until you leave! Food was very good, upscale Diner food which you cannot go wrong with.! Highly recommend!

   Usually restaurants that have recently open struggle on service and/or food quality but this was NOT the case with our Sunday lunch at CCFD. Our service was prompt and friendly and the food was spot on. My entree salad was crisp and cold with a delicious dressing that didn’t drown the salad. My wife and mother-in-law’s soup was a creamy potato that wasn’t gloppy but smooth and refreshing. My wife’s spinach salad was outstanding. We will be back many times!

    Had a reservation but waited 15 minutes until we were seated at a booth with 6 people—not very comfortable. Ran out of glasses for water so has to wait for water. All of our dinners arrived at different times which was awkward for the last person that was served 10 minutes later than everyone else.
