My friends and I were eager to check out Caps after hearing they had been remodeled and had dinner and entertainment. The night we were there they had a 70's band which was a lot of fun! We had dinner and drinks and had a great evening. Although we did not dance, most people were on the dance floor having a great time! We loved it so much we will be attending on Frank Sinatra tribute night as well. I do feel that it is a bit confusing as to what to wear. The tables are set for fine dining, but the attire ran the gamut from shorts, tennis shoes and Hawaiian shirts to suits and dresses. We will definitely be back many times!

They charge an entertainment fee of $7.00 per person. They also add a gratuity of 20%, which is automatic, on the entertainment fee. I have no problem with a gratuity for service it SHOULD NOT ADDED TO THE ENTERTAINMENT FEE. I ordered my NY Strip median raw. It was over cooked, closer to median well. It was also dry and not very tasty.

Dear Walter, I’m honestly surprised to hear your negative feedback after we spoke twice during your visit. Both times, you assured me you had a great meal and a great time with your guest while you shared your dish and one glass of wine. As for the $7 entertainment fee, it’s clearly stated on our website and OpenTable since CAPS is open. And the 20% gratuity has been on our menu for over a year now, a standard practice we apply to ensure our staff is compensated fairly. Nice ambient,great food and attentive service. Comedy night was a hit, we had a great time and we definitely look forward going back.

The food was not the best for the prices, house salad didn't have any veggies. The penne pasta had curdled, and thick. could only order certain menu options. Small intimate setting which was supper nice and very chic. I will try again on a different night. Waitress Bre was super nice

This was our first visit after the new upgrade. We were impressed with the decor and venue. Will definitely add Capps to the top of the list for dining and dancing in Houston.

An intimate, elegant club with a diverse clientele. Limited menu, but everything we tried was very good. The staff was professional and engaging. We were there when a local band played and everyone was on the dance floor dancing with each other. Great energy. I will definitely go back and bring friends.
