From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

    Sadly, it is getting increasingly overpriced. $62 for an unremarkable 5oz filet of beef (accompanied by greens) is not making people want to come back for more. It is a pity; when the restaurant first opened, the food was fantastic. Well worth it. It was impossible to get a table. Now, it is trivial to get a table, because they are not cultivating a loyal customer base.

    Our server was Kate and she did a wonderful job. She asked about food allergies, which we have, she kept our drink glasses full, and was just terrific all night. The three of us each had a difffrent past a dish and everyone loved them. It was so much food, that each of us brought home a leftover plate. Loved this place and will beback

    It was ok. Nothing good Not bad. Meatballs were fine. Chicken parm was huge but nothing special. Espresso martini was strong but wasn’t the great. Dessert was the best. Affogato brownie was amazing and the honey panna cotta w/ strawberry, rhubarb and basil crumble was delish!!!!!

    service was not bad but not what I was expecting. hostess was great and kind. food wasn’t bad in taste but expensive and honestly the presentation looked like I just made it at home. for the price of the food, not worth it.

    This place is fantastic. Actually went back the next day with a friend for brunch. It’s very popular so it can get a little noisy and the seating is a little cramped in some spots, but it’s well worth the visit!

    Really nice clean modern Art deco style eatery. Upscale but casual atmosphere with friendly staff. Friday evening they had sports on at the bar and fun upbeat classics playing in the background. Great for families, dates, and cool spot to hang at the bar.

    Great food, but very expensive. It’s a unique dining atmosphere in which all of the tables are very close to one another, so you are up in the business of your neighbors.

    We have been wanting to try this restaurant despite some very conflicting reviews and we definitely won’t be going back! The Italian chopped salad was okay but the Cacio e Pepe and the crab pasta were both sub par. Service was off and it was extremely loud. Wouldn’t recommend.

    Lovely atmosphere. Noisy, my main course of pizza was delivered nearly 15 minutes before the other entrees, friendly and nice server, but I sensed staff were a bit overwhelmed with the volume of people and things slipped through the cracks
