Renown Italian restaurateur Mario Iaccarino is pleased to invite guests for a taste of the Sorrento Coast at Casa Don Alfonso. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, the menu tells the story of traditions passed down for generations in the family homes of southern Italy. These recipes come from a magical place, ripe with the culture and beauty of the Mediterranean. Alongside an unmistakable commitment to hospitality and service, Casa Don Alfonso brings hand-crafted flavors and carefully chosen ingredients with every bite.

Family of Iaccarino honors the culinary heritage of the Campania region, with seasonal ingredients that closely resemble the sun-kissed produce harvested at the Iaccarino family’s farm. Fresh, handmade pastas create an edible narrative of the Iaccarino legacy, while whimsical desserts transport guests to Naples’ nostalgic bakeries.

Overall it was a nice dining experience and the food was good, but probably not up to expectations given the price point. We sat at the bar for a more casual vibe. The drinks were great, but the bar staff was not very attentive as it seemed like they were very busy with other orders. We ended up only having a drink a piece due to this. If I were to come back, I would try a regular table for better service.

2nd visit to Don Alfonso and the meal was outstanding. Ordered Local Lettuce salad, Lasagna bolognese, and the Polpette in polenta passata. The colors, presentation, and flavor of these creatively prepared dishes was skilled. The manager from their Sorrento, Italy restaurant was on hand the evening we dined and offered warm hospitality and a welcome to visit them in Sorrento.

Initially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.

The breakfast menu has been updated since last summer. I ordered the Lou's Brisket Hash. It had way too much bbq sauce. I would not order again Everyone else's food at the table was to their liking.

Exceeded all my expectations and then some! Absolutely fantastic food. Save room for the dessert, Il limone is one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Wonderful dining experience. We did a little staycation and redeemed some Marriott points for a night over winter break. Excellent food and service. Juan Pablo and Troy were attentive, kind, and wonderful servers. Can’t go wrong with the Ritz.
