No había nadie en el mostrador de la entrada, para sentarnos. Tuvimos que entrar en el comedor a buscar a algún camarero, finalmente, un camarero, que estaba atendiendo otras mesas, nos “señaló” la mesa que teníamos reservada. No nos acompañó a sentarnos. La camarera que nos atendió, fue muy amable y atenta.

After my very poor and Fustrating experience, I don't think I would recommend Casa Mia on the Green. I had booked a reservation on-line for 12/12/24 for 6 people. One of the party members being one of the President's for the Sphriners. Wanted to impress him with the restaurant to possibly hold many of our specials events of many people to attend at the restaurant for future occassions. I received my confirmation on my phone for 6 people at 5:30 p.m. When we arrived I checked in with one of the head waiters and she informed me that since they have a holiday party in the backroom seating is limited and even though I received confirmation on my phone it is considered open table which means first come first serve of 8 tables near the bar room. We waited over 1 1/2 hrs. and still no table available. Apparently they had 2 - 3 couples who are regular's I guess occupy the table even though they were done with dinner and they kept on getting up to dance in the bar area at which time they had a band that night which was way over too load and could not hear anyone talking to you. I then approached one of the owners who went to school with my older brothers and told him that he needs to update his website so that people are not misinformed when they make reservations and pointed out how 3 of the tables kept on being occupied by couples who were dancing and had completed their dinner. He did nothing nor conpensate a drink for the long wait. After 1 1/2 hrs. of waiting we left and went to Salute who were able to accomodate our party of 6. We ended up spending over $540.00 and tiped our waitress almost $200.00. Keep in mind that my family has had many many different big party occasions at Casa Mia i.e. Birthday parties of 25 - 30 people at a time, Confirmations, Communions, Showers, Stag parties, Anniverseries and many other big parties. After this experience I would not recommend nor would I go back. It was not very professional on treatment we received.

The wait staff and servers were amazing. Most of the food was decent. Our appetizer (eggplant rollatini) was super dry and tasteless. Literally had to spit it out. At a quick glance, the place looks great…then you notice the chairs when you get to your table and they’re old and worn. I switched mine out from another table because of how wobbly it was. The second one wasn’t much better. The restrooms look like someone on a budget tried to DIY and could definitely use some TLC.

Generally the food and service at Casa Mia is very good. However, in this instance my friend felt that there was way too much salt on the veal, which detracted from the appeal.

It appeared to be transitioning to a banquet? The dining area was closed- wine boxes piled up at the entrance. We went to the bar, very quiet for a Friday. Food was good. Service limited , but polite. Might be a while before we return .

The food was fabulous! Every course was delicious and fresh. One suggestion would be, with serving family style on Mother’s Day, I would size the different courses based on how many people are at the table, as there was so much wasted food. Far too much for for the 3 people we had & you’re not allowed to take it home…even the remainder is the initial order. The server was great and the food, again, was amazing!

The best part of our meal was our server. He was OUTSTANDING. Other than that, it was less to be desired. We came for Mother's Day prefix 4 course meal and had one of the 1st reservations and were seated fairly quickly (table of 3). Received our first course and then we waited and waited for our second course. We were informed the next course wasn't going out until the restaurant received their 1st course and plates were started to be collected. Received the second course about an hour later. It was cold. Then we received the entrée about 45-50 minutes later. That too was cold. It had been almost 2 hours since we were seated and only half way through the meal. I asked for a box and they said they couldn't give me one, that wasn't their policy. I asked why, to which i was given the "i don't know" gesture. I said that I paid for the food (which wasn't buffet mind you) and asked where it goes if we don't finish..it would have been a waste. Their response was "WE GIVE IT TO THE STAFF, IF THEY DONT FINISH IT, IT GOES TO THE HOMELESS" It was joked with the staff that we should have brought our own containers. First...ew. Second homeless shelters don't take perishable food items, which Salmon and chicken clearly are. It was below average at best and I wouldn't ever recommend anyone going there.
